I did and I was perplexed, young Asians running around, chilling in coffeehouse, etc. and all of them speaking Russian. I asked them wtf and they told me they're very comfortable using Russian, it's like their second mother tongue. Visit a country where a lot of Russians go on vacation. All of their restaurants, bars, shops have Russian-speaking personel. Putin himself said in the interview that they're building schools and so on in other countries to educate foreigners about their language, culture and so on. There is absolutely no problem finding 10 million plus Russian-speaking non-Russians.
