Just as in much of Western society, these people have been given a position of authority on the basis of their espousing a requisite duty to maintain the function of the community – and they are abusing that power.

Our moderation staff regularly ban for "bait" or "low-effort post" or "spam", while leaving other instances of obvious baitposting, extremely low-effort OPs and obnoxious spam untouched. Why would they do this?
They will try to hide behind the claim of an inability to keep up with the workload, but this does not suffice given the evidence at hand.
Clearly, the moderation staff are – yet again! – corrupted.
Just as in modern Western society, those who've been given power to maintain and uphold the ideals of the community are abandoning their duty and, instead, utilizing their power to pursue their own venomous entertainment and/or financial benefit, to the detriment of the community as a whole.

The real question is why it is allowed to continue.
The answer is that, its because this board is and has been controlled by hostile semitic factors for far far far too long. As a result, the community is shrinking, and there is strong reason to believe that is intentional.

This started to get visibly worse after November 2018, when the board log was shifted to conceal moderator IDs and the moderation staff was purged and replaced with /int/ users from 4chan (as was visible during the early stages, when they regularly posted images directly from /int/ and were caught red-handed, same filenames and everything, via reverse image search). I have no evidence of this last bit prepared at present, but anyone can check the board log and see for themselves, while those who've been here since before then will undoubtedly have recognized a similar pattern.
