The (((media))) went apeshit on that. At first the PM said no on restoring the monument. But later he said that the monument can be only in some independence war museum. As far as I've seen mostly tourists and school classes visit museums, it's like you go there once and never visit again. Sometimes the museums are open during the work hours, which many can't visit.
For example, the National Museum which was recently built, is not in the capital but at the edge (more outside) of the second largest city which is on the other side of the country, including that there's almost nothing there but big halls for elites to celebrate or party there. Oh, and it costed ridiculous amount of money, which it takes maybe 5 more years to pay all of the cost. No-one asked for it.
