The two were at Sleepy Ridge Golf Course in Orem, Utah, police said.
The young girl was flown to a hospital in Salt Lake City in critical condition and died from her injuries later Monday evening.
The incident is being investigated as a tragic accident, Colledge said, adding that police are not pursuing charges and have not released the names of the girl or her father.
Have you held a golf ball? Yes, one of those whacked against your head, especially a child's, can easily kill. Plus kids are retarded and some have gotten the ball stuck in their throats before.

I hope this was a non-white child or else this is tragic.

Maybe we wouldn't have become so racist if blacks weren't demanding we pay them money for because of the color of our skin and maybe if we didn't have spic gangs slaughtering people with machetes and hoisting the mexican flag over federal buildings. Maybe if we were treated with respect rather than disdain. Maybe then we wouldn't have seen the virtue of racism. Too late.

ban golfballs and golf clubs. limit number of golf balls that can be stored in a bag to three. don't allow weighted golf club ends as that significantly adds to the velocity of the golf ball. don't allow "power-grips". make having a golfing license harder. there is no reason why anyone should be able to hit a ball more than 20 feet in a game of golf ideally only putters should be allowed for public use. this isn't the highlands anymore.

In a way it is not so bad. She died young and hopefully never saw it coming. She was able to exit this life before she became jaded, the world still held promise for her and she did not yet begin to feel the existential dread that adults feel.
