For one thing, proof is never offered and they have turned out to be fake several times. I don't disbelieve it, but I'm suspicious. It's like with the Skripal incident. Did Russia do it? Maybe. Where's the proof? We all know that this will be used, whether Syria is behind it or not, as a potential pretext for increasing American / Western presence in Syria. Those 2000 US troops won't be leaving any time soon and I still believe that it will be considered a war with in five years for the US.
