Not really relevant. Whether or not censorship kills is kind of a secondary concern - it establishes centralized authoritarian power for the state and destroys the freedom and quality of life of its subjects. It can be conducive to killing, but the fact that it's detrimental to resistance and communication is a big enough issue that it should be opposed regardless of whether or not it kills.

This argument in the light of the class warfare philosophical analysis just does not hold. The disregard might be only for the rich and the reactionaries. But when it comes to death toll of common people, it has to be minimized.

Incorrect. Soviets had barrier troops, which had the right to shoot disobedient soldiers, but doing so was not the norm. From Catherine Merridale’s “Ivan’s War”:
