Nah Farewell of Slavinkia is from 1912, but every Russian song was used by all sides: Эх Яболчка is just a song about how a woman is fit (russians have a thing about calling women fruit and trees) but had a whitem red and black version, along with numerous regular folk versions. Next someone will say the battle hymn of the republic is fake because it is actually john brown's march.
