With such a massive figurehead that everyone adores going over towards the right, I can see a lot of people migrating towards a more pro-Trump political policy as that will be see as the thing that is in. Essentially, it is wrong to assume that the alt-right has lost it's ground. In fact I say that it's doing exactly what it needs to do in order to secure more power and influence. Any and all forms of things viewed as "left" will be seen as the new taboo, and people will slowly drift further away from the left because of his influence. White millennial have already started moving rightward, and we can see a new trend forming because of the fact that Trump is still seen as this massive outsider despite being a millionaire who was born rich and enjoyed the rich lifestyle.
O personally cannot see a beacon of hope for the left, and Trumpism really being the new black as they say it. Once Kanye joined the right, a lot of other people will want to join too.
