It's a gut check moment for Zig Forums and as it turns out they are all completely ok with supporting everything they're against if it's Trump doing it. An exercise in stupidity but not indicative of a fall.

On reconsidering my wording I think it would have been more appropriate likening the Alt-Right to a star turning into a white dwarf. The outer layer has "exploded" away, but a hard core of Kool-Aid sipping zioshills remain eating anything Trumpstein shits out. I do still feel that Zig Forums isn't as enthusiastic as it once was. It's more about neocon virtue-signaling while pretending to be edgy than promoting Nazism.

They'll pick up a fresh round of idiots over the summer and will have plenty of enthusiasm through the election. Things fade out in the interim year as only hardcore people stay posting every day, these are the people most willing to engage in mental gymnastics to defend Trump at all costs.
Zig Forums won't come to terms with what they're doing until well after 2020. By then enough fresh blood will have entered and realized Trump lied to them. I personally expect a hard split on Zig Forums between Americans and non-Americans, the latter will actually be put into situations where they could go full fash but American posters will cry about it if Trump complains. Already this can be seen with the amerimutt meme. Non-Americans will just move on to their own places while Zig Forums becomes more and more Republican and less and less Hitler. Or Zig Forums can go the terrorist route ala Siege then get vanned by the FBI after doing something stupid like bombing a church or the FBI headquarters.
