I'm thinking we need a central Wiki to organize our knowledge. If this can get off the ground Zig Forums could actually provide something of value to the left.
We have to do a bunch of things: - Gather links to free online resources. - Collect resources that are already floating around. (infographics, reading lists, info-dumps…) - Write articles on lefitst history and theory. - Write guides on leftist activity. (how to organize, how to communicate, how to produce quality propaganda) - Write articles on other potentially relevant stuff. (cybernetics, philosophy, Zig Forums memes)
If you can do any of this, please help. Just make an account and start writing. And post about what you're doing in this thread, so that we can coordinate a little bit.
I'm going to start making articles on various topics, just with a bunch of links to resources that are already available. Build up a hub of some sort for Leftist information found on the internet.
How are you guys planning to moderate and organize that wiki, I mean do you even know who the owner of the site is?
Gabriel Williams
Last thread the owner of the site showed up. See:

The best English resource for Marx is probably the Marx/Engels Collected Works. That would probably be the best resource to use for quotes and other such things. Two things are most important in this kind of project. The first is that you don't just explain a bunch of concepts individually, because that will make people confused. You have a place that explains simply the roots of the theory and then builds off it. I also think that it is important to show how Marxist theory objectively explains some parts of the economy. I think that approach could convince a lot of people.
You realize that the USSR's history didn't end with the NEP, right?
Chase Edwards
Of course, I still don’t think it was ever communism.
Oliver Collins
Who said it was? Name one communist who said the USSR achieved communism. Don't even answer.
Ryder Wilson
Stalin. You do realize the “upper” and “lower” stages are still communism in the sense they are associated production? What changes is the political principle of distribution.

Over and over again in Economic problems of the USSR, it’s where the meme socialist commodity production comes from.

In any case I searched for the term "communism" through all ten chapters and nothing of sorts was said. You are full of shit.
Alexander Sullivan
He said they achieved "lower stage" socialism which if you read the critique of Gotha Program, is communism. Marx used the terms interchangeably since the Manifeso. Here's an example of Stalin:
Ayden Brown
Searched for "lower" through all 10 chapters. 2 results in ch3 and nowhere else:
You are full of shit.

It's right there… he talks about the two kinds of socialist production in the USSR. This was acknowledged to not be "higher stage" communism since distribution took place through the horizon of "narrow bourgeois right" as Marx would say.
Granted, if you are admitting that the USSR was never socialist but rather a form of Capitalism (or maybe you take Ticktin's route and say its a "non-mode of production) then I don't think we have much to argue about.

How does this translate in your mind into ?

I came here to laugh at you.

>marxistpedia.org/wiki/Main_Page Nobody decided that you liar. Given that you're a leftcom and you have now demonstrated your propensity to lie and make power grabs, you are likely either: 1. a run-of-the-mill dipshit who would make the wiki into a shitfest or 2. a literal COINTELPRO agent trying to set up a honeypot (which would also be a shitfest) Aside from that, you have done absolutely NOTHING to demonstrate that you have a cohesive outline for how the wiki would operate, and you haven't discussed the all-important matter of SECURITY either (again, because there's a 50/50 chance you're COINTELPRO). So, fuck off.
Levi Cook
Oh yeah, and nice one for making a new thread which was totally unneeded. marxistpedia is definitely a diversion and a trap.
Matthew Adams
Well, it is true people commonly misquote the opium quote.

Marxists are so consumed with envy that it becomes the driving force behind everything they do. Plus they only want wealth redistribution to be a one-way street; they want money from you, but will not give their money to the less fortunate. I went to college with one a perfect example of a Marxist. He was middle-class white, hadn't a trace of a sense of humour, forever on the lookout for politically incorrect people, condescending and rude. He had more money than most of us, and his parents paid for his tuition. But he was perpetually offended and oppressed. One day the red cross had a blood drive at our school and as my classmates and I were preparing to give blood, he asked if he could go with us. We were surprised but we said yes. However when he was told he wouldn't be paid for his blood, he said "F*** that!" and left.

Why are people on the right only able to "argue" against strawmen?

Is this copypasta?

Y'all make sectarianism a big problem for this really useful project
Dylan Rodriguez
There's absolutely nothing useful about a wiki that doesn't have a firm position on anything.
Nathan Perry
then let everone make his own wiki for their special brand of Zizekian-Hoxhaist ML with burger & transhuman characteristics. When it isn't even possible to make a Marxist wiki how should it be possible to make a Marxist goverment?
