Never mind my stupidity, I did a search on how the 42% unemployment number was found. It's not based on faulty information. That would include a large chunk of the population that wouldn't realistically be expected to work, like senior citizens, students, disabled people, and housewives. Still, it is plain as day the real unemployment rate has hovered around 15-20% just by asking around and noticing what is around you, and in many places the rate is much higher.

Back in the aughts and early '10s the incel forums weren't as politicized, but reactionaries did a lot of ground work to turn the forums into echo chambers, and then to sell fascist ideology. The forum I was most familiar with was liberal as fuck, and exemplified just about everything wrong with American liberalism in the tech era. They closed down years ago, and I don't know where anyone from that forum wound up except one guy who took their shitty lib advice, went into an obviously abusive relationship because he was trained to debase himself for a woman, and wound up in prison the last time I heard.

I don't think there's a whole lot you can do, other than not invoking sexualist ideology for no good reason. Leftism's attachment to a sexual ideology has been its downfall many, many times; you only need to look at the disaster that was the 1960s to see how sexual politics was used as a lever to distract and displace the communist left with a neutered, easily controllable movement tied to irrelevant social issues. Sexualism should have nothing to do with the socialist movement, except as a target for critique as appropriate, and socialism isn't going to cure incel or mental illness or lead to a paradise.
