Hey so I was wondering, what's leftypol's attitude towards waifubots? Is this something too "decadent" to dedicate productive resources towards? Cause a lot of people on the right seem to love the idea (but a large part of them call them "degenerate" too).
What if the components are mass produced and hobbyists can spend their free time assembling one and sharing designs and code with each others to make it work (in a true communist fashion in some ways)? Should ordinary people be able to afford the components?
I personally don't think that it would solve the "incel problem". Just like porn doesn't. Robots aren't going to solve the lack of affection and intimacy with other human beings. I think even most "incels" realize that.
But it could alleviate some of the issues depending on how much one is prone to get attached to "waifus".
