There seem to be a lot more Christcoms than usual lately for some reason (or perhaps one or two of them are just unusually active?) but most of them seem to be decent posters and generally don't seem particularly reactionary

The stance of the US government was in support of Calles. A few going on rants against him within the government means about as much as a few SocDems and libertarian-lites ranting against the invasion of Libya while the invasion occurred. Calles had conflicted communist support, and it was support that was split among different worker unions and among the workers themselves. The Cristeros on the other hand had direct financial support from the Irregulars if you wish to count them.

The thing is reactionary just means flawed. And of course any ideology is going to be flawed, but certainly Nazbolism and Christian Socialism are not the worst shit out there, but it is contrary to many strong theories out there about communism. On many ways Christian Socialism sounds like primitivism just with more emphasis on spirituality as it's means of conning and guilt tripping mass amounts of people who already believe in fairy tales as a means of justifying their wrong beliefs.

Take it at face value. Christianity as a whole is not compatible with revolution not because it's "reactionary". But because it isn't reacting at all. When's the last time the church has come into conflict with the bourgeois class and forced a divide? Has someone's faith bent the fabric of law and practice? Are churches lining up to give sanctum to school shooters and protect them from legal prosecution by the secular state who isn't giving them enough respect? The church is not the separate bit equal power it once was and is now just another compromised part of liberalism. All the same, nationalism itself is only a general fear induced response to the standard of living reducing for one's native imperialism. Nationalism when done right can starve and drive out bourgeois influence, but if you're white and Christian…nationalism is just the desperate cry for classical liberalism worried about losing your free shit to migration and new approaches to exploitation via global trade. You don't see nationalists either going AGAINST capitalism, merely unsatisfied with it.
