I think the birth rate is lowering because of a multitude of factors, and a declining birth rate isn't necessarily a bad thing (the earth can't support an unlimited number of humans).

Given the social and financial conditions it's just too damn hard to raise a kid, and since casual sex and not settling down the second you become an adult is pretty socially acceptable there's no reason why a young person would want to jump head first into locking their life down. I'm both in a relationship and watch porn, I don't want a kid because I'm having too much fun not being anchored down, not because porn is somehow absorbing my life. There's also the fact that incels have always existed, they just weren't as known about and didn't congregate until the internet gave them a means of doing so.
