Someone should fix this image. The Kwantung army wasn't even close to 75% of the IJA. It's been so long since I've studied WWII I don't have any of my sources anymore, and the numbers for Japanese strength in '45 are hard to come across anyway. But I'm quite confident there where a million more men in China and somewhere around that number in Japan with a few hundred-thousand more scatted in SEA and elsewhere.
So why are you guys pro stalinists…
It should indeed just say 80% of nazi troops in stead, which was more impressive and likely more true.
Because your idea of "less shitty" is capitalist wageslavery with garbage consumerism to distract from when the US-backed multinational corporations buttfuck your citizens into a state of complete misery.
(fuck them some nice quads)
Basicaly ebil dictator = stalinism.
I'm pretty sure neither Kim or Papa Joe had complete control. Pic related.
I support stalinism in cases where keeping the fucking country together necessitates it. Otherwise, I'd rather the negative traits that are associated with "stalinism" not be present.
There's no such thing as "stalinism" it's just ML
...
North korea is a carbon copy of the soviet union under stalin pretty much.
How are they different?
Conservative
Cult of personality
Workers are forced to work through fear
Political purges
And so on…
What makes you think the USSR was conservative? Is it because "muh hated gays"? The entire world in that time was more homophobic, and as far as I'm aware at least the USSR didn't experiment with gays, like someone else did
Stalin didn't actually want a personality cult and didn't start it, finnishbolshevik has a good video on this
Sources? This just seem like your typical "muh evil commies enslaved workers and forced them through hard labor" nonsense
While stalin possibly did kil some innocent people, the purpose of the purges were to purge counterrevolutionaries and conspirators against Stalin
