There is no genocide in Palestine. The Palestinian birthrate has been going up since the 1940s, and the Palestinians have one the highest birth rates in the middle east. In fact, the Palestinian population has tripled in the last 50 years. If your people are being genocided, your population doesn't increase threefold.
I wish the left in general would just get over the failure of the Palestinian intifada. They used to be left-wing nationalists, now they're mostly Islamic fundamentalists, sellouts and opportunists. We'd have better luck trying to organize the Israeli proles, who would probably be more inclined towards some form of socialism than Palestinian Muslims, headed by Hamas, who desire a semi-feudal caliphate. The Israeli kibbutzim was closer to full communism than anything the Palestinian national bourgeoisie have established.
"B-b-but, what about muh PFLP?" The PFLP gave up on any kind of tangible socialist national-liberation struggle decades ago. The only group actively fighting Israeli "occupation" is Hamas, with their crappy little fireworks, and they're not communists or socialists by any stretch of the imagination. On the contrary, they're Islamic fundamentalists who wouldn't think twice about butchering secular communists and anarchists, Jews, homosexuals, feminists, etc.
The Palestinians are a lost cause, and for Marxists and Anarchists who are supposed to oppose the existence of nations, I hear a lot of lefties claiming that the Palestinians are indigenous to the land just as the American Indians are indigenous to the Americas, therefore giving them the right to wage war on Israel and declare a greater Palestinian state. There are many problems with this. For starters, there were 500 unique nations among the American Indians with their own languages, cultures and other characteristics. The Palestinians are virtually indistinguishable from other Arabs, and they all speak Arabic.
I hear American lefties saying that "we couldn't stop the genocide of the Native Americans, but we can stop the genocide of the Palestinians!!!" Newsflash: the American Indians are still around, though unlike the Palestinians, their populations have dwindled at a horrifying rate since their first interactions with European settlers. American Indians still exist, and they're living in third-world conditions in impoverished reservations. Why aren't American leftists, the majority of whom are white, fighting for the autonomy of an indigenous people right here in their own backyards whom their ancestors themselves slaughtered and colonized into submission? American Indians have more of a right to this land, settled upon by the ancestors of the Palestinian activists, than the Palestinians do Jerusalem.
In conclusion, fuck Palestine. They wouldn't think twice about fucking us over.
