Yeah, people are acting like he's some kind of wildcard when the Lega has been in power before with roughly the same stances on immigration and eventually they've always backpedaled without accomplishing shit. That's because a lot of their support comes from Northern industrial porkys who absolutely NEED cheap immigrant labour to stay competitive. That and Salvini himself is still in bed with Berlusconi ,whose ties with the mafia are notorious, and African immigrants have always been the lifeblood of organized crime in the South, doing grunt work selling drugs or slaving away in tomato plantations.
One thing I'm worried about is that Ruspaman is propped up by a lot of neofascist orgs as well as the cops (law enforcement in Italy has been full of fascists since the end of the war as the Americans wanted to keep socialist tensions in check) and has promised to set the dogs loose. Basically, once he says the word, niggers are gonna be fair game for neo-fascists and carabinieri alike, and guess who they're gonna turn to when they run out of blacks to beat up? I don't give a fuck about the bickering with Macron and other neolibs, it's just spectacle, but this has the potential to turn Italy into a light police state if we don't push back.

Regionalism is a meme, everyone wants out the euro and everyone wants out italy. With italy goes out of the EU in this moment with this economic situation I don't think it's too extreme to think of balcanization as a consequence

It doesn't. This "weird regionalism" is 100% larping. I'll be the first to admit that there's a fairly sharp divide between the North and the South, and that there's really no such thing as a "unified Italy", but no one in their right mind is suggesting anything beyond a Germany-like federal state. Again, those that do are larpers.

What's really scary about him + meme stelle is that as long as they keep the attention on immigration they can literally go in the streets of Rome and say that streets are perfect there (which is simply not fucking true) and none would even care and still call then honest.
