The Chinese have their Golden Shield, and we will get our copyright prescreening. Lovely. This is exactly what Zizek warned about when he talks about capitalism with Asian values.

You know the west is dying when their entire economy is based mostly on rent extraction (i.e. copyrights and other IP shit) instead of production. May it continue to burn to the ground.

By now the term 'fascism' was made meaningless by libs, tbh.

It's not fascism, but it is fucking bad.

Not just rent seeking behavior, but renting ideas rather than physical property that could be scarce. Ideas inherently can only be scarce artificially.

How is it not fascism? Capitalist corporations colluding with the government at the expense of the general public.

because fascism means more than big business working with the govt

At what point does something become fascist?

No it doesn't. It's quite the opposite. I hate more than anyone else when fascism is misused as a term, but in this case is not. If anything fascism is more than not wanting immigrants

Is this being done through the EU (rather than nationally) to avoid scrutiny and debate? Although my own government in the UK seems equally keen on pushing through its own authoritarian internet laws.

Lmao. Good vid though

I don't think you could seriously call the EU fascist at this point, although of course this law does bring it closer.

fascism is a buzzword, the fact is shit's getting increasingly dystopic whichever way you look at it.

I think we should stop obsessing over what is or isn't fascist to determine if it's worth condemning and just start killing liberals.

rent-seeking is the technical term if you want to be autismo about it tbh

Fascism is to capitalism what jihadism is to Islam.

Why don't ya all go to Zig Forums? You'd have your own board there

Good pick, but the rest of your post…

if fascism only means corporations and the govt are colluding then its a meaningless term because every capitalist state is also a fascist one

No shit

What do you not understand?

Jihad is actually a good spiritual concept though. Capitalism is actually why "jihad" has a negative connotation. American backed Saudis in the middle east have created a capitalist version of Islam that has fucked a lot of Israel and America's enemies up in the region. Fortunately that's coming to an end courtesy of Russia.

Of course you wouldn't understand.

I love this image because of how amazingly retarded it is

Yeah I think it's better if we just let Article 13 pass. At certain points on things like Judaism and other subjects it's just best to not allow anyone on the left to speak because somehow not a single person on the entire left wing under stands the subject. Requesting mods delete this thread for irrelevancy.

there are two kinds of Jihad. The greater Jihad is the struggle within the individual, to be a good muslim, the struggle with faith and disbelief, etc. The lesser jihad is the physical struggle for Islam, which has traditionally been characterized as a defensive struggle. Some groups, such as the Ahmadiyya community, believe the lesser Jihad is wholly illegitimate.

Religious bullshittery, of course.

The "lesser" jihadists are fanatic extremists that the main portion of Islam usually disowns.
My original point is that capitalists feel the same about their fanatic extremists
