We should not encourage people to cross the Mediterranean in rubber boats and paying human traffickers to do so. They can apply via the proper channels elsewhere and if they are actually refugees, they will get asylum.

The pieces for a violent American political revolt and response are in play. Hopefully, the liberals shed enough liberal tendencies to be more than cannonfodder for a broader statist takeover. I doubt Trump ends up on the victorious side, but he likely has more than 1 winning hands left. The fringe right wing are in their most advantageous positions in years, but the liberal/conservative mindset of the self indulgent political apathetic want none of the cringe right's extreme worship of Trumpism. The liberal/conservative mindset wants stable leadership, and to keep the boat from rocking to preserve just enough harmony that they can bathe in neoliberal decadence. It's unfortunate for them that a massively disruptive global hegemonic battle is imminent, and that some of the first shots fired will begin in their decadent consumerist American utopia (dystopia) between Democrats (with some Moderates/some Republicans) and the horde of fringe right orcs. The more they ignore it for self indulgences (like pintrest articles, posting social media pictures of hiking trips or cat meme comforts), the more likely they'll be economically jolted into a nightmare land where they're forced to take sides. I'm truly surprised the aristocratic class hasn't managed to find deep state allies to make assassination attempts or to blackmail Trump since they'll be deeply affected to. It truly makes me wonder what their plans are or if they have a competent intellect whatsoever. This growing revolutionary mindset empowers ideologies which would inflict either darwinian chaos in their ranks which destroyed members of their class indiscriminately such as with fascism or even possibly total annhilation of their class through the rise of communism.
