Anyone who supports Russiagate is doing the work of the state in dividing the working class along national lines and propaganda work for their war plans against their rival imperialist enemies.
The day in and day out demonization of Russia is disgusting to me in part because the Russian working class is one of the most advanced working classes in the world due to its experience in building socialism. For progressives to cooperate in targeting Russia, only undermines the things they say they want because the Russian working class is an enormous potential ally in the global struggle; likewise, this only helps solidify Putin's reign by allowing him to portray the country as being under attack. Russiagate serves the same function for the us ruling class in addition to preparation for war.
Sometimes I hate living in this country so much and think about leaving, but then I can't think of place that isn't made shittier by the U.S. existence and become even more dissapointed.
