I'm not very familiar with Hoxhaism, but I think he was one of the greatest ML revolutionaries.. led the WWII resistance movement and was democratically voted into power. Pre-communist Albania was so backwards it made tsarist Russia look good, don't know how liberals there have the nerve to discredit Hoxha

But well at least Maoism has some useful concepts that are still worth debating. While I don't call myself a Maoist I can see the appeal of the Mass Line idea or strategies like People's War. On the other hand I never really saw what was so unique about Hoxha's rule or political philosophy, other than dogmatically trying to be "orthodox" to a level where progress is shunned because it's supposedly revisionist. I never really understood the point of having "Hoxhaism" as a separate ideology, it's as if you would also need to have HoChiMinhism, Zhivkovism, Gheorgiu-Dejism, etc.
I don't know too much about it apart from the autarky, which I don't think worked out very well? What else did he do differently from the other socialist leaders
