While Wolff talks about co-ops a lot, that's mostly to illustrate how socialism is organized, by using a practical example that currently exists. He seems to see the market as an abstraction of what's really a (competitively) planned economy. In some of his lectures he goes into criticism of the market itself and why planning is superior.

They are unable to look beyond data, good or bad, as a source for their beliefs. For them it all comes down to numbers, as those are the real "facts." However, they are not able to see past these "facts" really being illusions - while natural science applied to the natural world simply progresses science, its application to the social world/relations serves as a tool for bourgeois ideology. For example, through this lens production, distribution, sale, purchase, etc etc can all be seen as separate, independent processes, in addition to being naturalized themselves ("we've always had money, jobs, a ruler," you see the point). Beyond that, the 100 million statistic they bring up - not even acknowledging the problems with that number - does not in itself prove that socialism/marxism is an economic mode unworthy of consideration.
