TL;DR: I lost my house in an earthquake and also all my money on a U.S. based cryptocurrency exchange because U.S. government sanctioned normal Iranian citizens like me and now I'm homeless. I am inside Iran and live in a tent.

No that one is recent. This exchange disabled my account in 2017 and refuses to give me my money because of a law that Trump passed which was targeting normal Iranian citizens like me.

How do you get the money from gofundme or cashing out the cryptos if you are under sanctions? wouln't you just have the same problems.
Some cell towers are still working. I'm using a cheap 4G USB modem on an old laptop. That's all that is left for me.
Some guy i knew from Europe told me he would help me with that because PayPal sanctioned Iran and i can't have a PayPal account.
There is a Iranian exchange (not crypto exchange but normal exchange) that buys Bitcoin and gives you Rial (Iranian currency)

Yes i tried to do it from Turkey but i still failed. We have welfare but it's next to nothing. I am alive on humanitarian aid right now.

No i still live in a tent with my mother who is ill. I don't have the money to fix the walls. Lots of people are dead. There is no job and i can't move to another location because all money has been confiscated by the U.S. government and also because of my mother who can't walk properly.
Both 4ch and 8ch are blocked in Iran. I'm using a cheap proxy to post. Almost everyone in iran uses proxies because most sites are filtered here. Unfortunately i can't take new pics. I had to sell my phone because i ran out of money. All i have now is this old laptop and my 4g USB modem.

Because our economy is crashing and it would have lost its value if i did not put it in crypto. The money that was stolen from me is now worth 10 times more because of the economy crashing due to sanctions.

I explained in my blog that because of U.S. sanctions i couldnt buy hardware wallets and because of Iranian internet i could not download Bitcoin core wallet which was massive. Other online wallets were following U.S. laws and had almost no feedack. Bittrex seemed to be the most reputable option since it was the 5th biggest exchange in the world in 2017.

OP I wish I could help you but I've lewrn s that once you put crypto on an exchange you no longer own the keys. Only way to get the money back at that point is to see if you can claim asylum elsewhere then give up Iranian citizenship and THEN try to withdraw as you will no longer have that citizenship preventing this.
I tried that and it failed. Then say the account is associated with an embargoed country.
OP what the hell you can't fucking expect 75k dollars on your gofundme. I understand that houses are expensive, but people are simply not going to donate when this is what you're asking. You're more likely to get 75k by asking for 5k and claiming all you need is food and a bigget tent.
I explained in the last two lines on the GoFundMe page why i put that number there i quote:
"Your help would make me able to fix my home and build it again and also take my ill mother to another city since our hospital has been destroyed by the earthquake as well. "
Our economy is crashing deeper and deeper everyday because of the sanctions and it's impossible for me to pay for my mother to be hospitalized in another city. She lives with me in the tent. Sharing my story is much more of a help because everyone i knew died in the earthquake and i have no one on social media to share my story and get my voice heard.
I explained here but you are right user. I changed it as you advised me to 5k. I don't think anyone would help me with my mother's hospital expanses. At least i can fix the walls with that money.

That's politics 101, Trump talked about the struggling middle working class and their insecurities during the SOTU while saying how socialism is bad right after.
Iran isn't a social democracy because it's not really a democracy or socialist, though the elections are probably less rigged than America's and the public options are better.
