you don't need a "cover" to justify party discipline. if you want to join Democrat Cops of America and larp about creating tenants unions, then go ahead and "base build." but that has absolutely nothing to do with actually building a party capable of influencing society.
the whole point of the party is to organize the working class. you're incredibly confused.
Alexander Williams
Well with millenials mostly embracing socialism and the sra on the rise, promoting gun ownership among leftist, this doesnt come as a suprise. There was even an armed leftist march somewhere here.
Carter Jones
they're not, they are embracing bernie sanders social democracy
Adrian Anderson
Is it not? Matamoros strikes, the strikes in India, the Gilets Jaunes, the strike in Los Angeles recently, the impending imperialist intervention in Venezuela. If this is not intensifying class struggle, nothing is. It’s only a matter of time before the US government is faced with internal dissent, no matter how minor.
Even that is a threat
Josiah Jenkins
a threat to what?
Asher Lopez
What I’m saying is that even milquetoast people like Bernie and these pseudo-leftists make Porky nervous, not that they’re going to abolish capitalism. Just look at how angry AOC (a radlib) makes right-wingers
Isaiah Thompson
Social democracy isn't a threat to capitalism in the slightest. If anything it is a tactic used by capitalists to pay off the working class from doing revolution.
Jeremiah Taylor
How is WSWS or any Trot/ML org "organizing the working class" if all they do is show up to protests that were already happening and denouncing ever union, party, movement, etc. except themselves? You'd think after 60 years of existing in tiny useless sects you'd realize that strategy doesn't work and you'll have to get your hands dirty, both collaborating and debating with other socialist groups and actually trying to build grassroots workers organizations.
Breathlessly reporting that every day America lurches further into fascism and that every other lefty org is completely bankrupt and wrong does not a revolutionary movement make.
Austin Baker
I'm betting 1917 labor vouchers on shit finally going down in the 20s, probably on or around 2025.
Samuel Rogers
2020s are going to be collapse of quality of life in developed world, we've been coasting by on stagnation since 08 but it'll become more open throughout the 2020s
