How come communists/socialists always try to differentiate from liberals? They're quite literally the same thing, communists/socialists just have more radical economical opinions.

How come fascists always try to differentiate from conservatives? They're quite literally the same thing, fascists just have more radical economical opinions.
Fascists are much more socially liberal than conservatives are, so that's a pretty big difference.

Alright my question has yet to be answered. Can I please have someone intelligent answer my question.
So the difference is only the economical opinions? Thanks for agreeing with me.
you didnt ask it in good faith so what do you honestly expect?
You have no way of knowing that, I'm sure whenever and outsider of your imageboard comes in with a genuine question you get assmad and tell them the same thing.
you have to go back
you posted a shitty meme pic, are you honestly getting triggered now that you got told to fuck off?
fuck off.
I didn't know underages were allowed here.
...
Explain.
I know you have autism so you don't understand social interactions, but among neurotypical people it's common to react negatively to a question that is clearly asked in an insulting way, not because massive offense was caused and will go cry about it later but because they find the other person's attitude hostile and distasteful. Please remember not everyone shares your mental disorder.
Ok buddy, it's time for you to leave.
Liberals' concern for social issues doesn't stem from a material, class analysis like it does for socialists. The former, for example, wants more disabled non-white female whatever the fuck else CEOs while the latter know that won't fucking help anything in the long run and in fact wants CEOs abolished. It's not enough to say "see? They both care about cause X, checkmate!"
this.
Yes
Interesting, I think I understand now. Glad to see not everyone here gets triggered by pixels on a screen.
OP Mao literally wrote a list on all the reasons to hate liberals as a communist.

In the eighteenth century liberalism broke the power of absolutism but it soon devolved into a reactionary movement, managed specifically to defuse the popular revolutionary radicalism of the nineteenth century. Ever since, liberalism has been about the preservation of property rights and the status quo. In our country today, liberal elites fight just as vigorously as conservatives to see that genuinely progressive goals are never achieved in a way that might infringe on their privileged social and economic status. The elephant in the liberal living room is the embarrass-ing reality that capitalist society is organized on the exploitation of one class by another. The inconvenient truth is that the ideals of the Enlightenment – equality, individuality, democracy – must inevitably collapse into institutionalized injustice under the all-pervasive directive of the primacy of the private accumulation of capital over all other concerns.
Twentieth century nationalist socialist/fascist theory committed the unforgivable heresy of clarifying the incompatibility of capitalism and democracy and providing a viable alternative free of the illusions of both. Fascism rested on restoring the traditional fabric of society, placing the needs of the national community above the selfish whims of the individual. In so doing it gave to otherwise alienated individuals the sense of common purpose and connection to others that are so vital to mental health. And only a strong authoritarian state can claim and effectively wield the power necessary to undo the damage that capitalism does and to contend with the many do-mestic and foreign adversaries a true class-free social revolution inevitable creates.
Nationalist socialism was effective, practical socialism, much as it was first formulated in the nineteenth century, but purged of Marxism’s self-defeating fantasies about international solidar-ity, never-ending class rivalry, and the abolition of private property. It's not hard to see how western imperialists were so terrified of the German version that they made common cause with their mortal enemy, the murderous Soviet dictator Stalin, to erase this dangerous challenge to their hegemony. And they have succeeded in recasting Not Socialism in their propaganda apparatus as nothing less than the most evil regime in all of human history. I find it comical that right-wingers today are convinced Hitler was a leftist while left-wingers are equally certain he was the personification of every unjust use of state power.
No we're not. Private property is a core tenet of liberalism. Literally the opposite of socialism.
being a communist is sort of defined by "economical opinions" though. and economic issues are enormously important and varied. Saying 'you only disagree about economics' is the same as saying you disagree about a long list of really important issues that fundamentally affect everyone's lives.
liberals want capitalism but want everyone to be nice to each other regardless of race, sex or religion. communists think those two wants are ultimately incompatible and capitalism works against the social harmony liberals claim to want. Crucially, the liberal will not care if commies share the latter want with them. The moment there's any chance of losing their first want (capitalism), the liberal will side with conservatives and fascists against commies. As such, the liberal is ultimately more like the right than he is like a commie.
…
there's a difference between 'being triggered' and just not wanting to help out a rude asshole.

Yeah, effective at starting a totally pointless war for capital, killing massive amounts of people for no reason, and plunging the economy into debt. gb2

So literally just capitalism with gibs
It is the other way around dumbass
I hope someday I get fucked as hard as idealism has fucked you
Wow, so it’s literally capitalism. America is a “practical socialist” state by this model
Combat Liberalism isn’t so much an actual critique of liberalism as it is Mao calling literally everything he doesn’t like liberalism. I mean seriously look at this shit,
t. Mao
i kinda see his point there, liberalism is all about muh personal freedoms and choice and shit. hence antivaxxers and so on.
Liberals don't go far enough. They're content with simply reforming the shitty system they live under than overthrowing/dismantling it. Also, from what I've seen, they denounce people with more radical viewpoints to seem more approachable.
"Thoughts on private property rights?"
Go back to reddit, fag.
Except that doesn’t mean that just acting in an individualistic fashion is liberalism. Liberalism as a philosophy makes plenty of provisions for the subordination of the individual to the common good.
Socialism and liberalism are, at their core, economic systems ffs. Socialism isn't just "extreme liberalism." Disagreements on private property rights are irreconcilable.
smh tbqhwy famalam
Actually Fascist care more about social heirarchy and traditions, economics are secondary.
