I think its a bit disingenuous to treat the government as a monolithic block that only has one goal. Certainly the primary legislative and executive branches are primarily interested in advancing class warfare causes, and the enforcement section of government is entirely dedicated to performing the role as that is their duty. That doesn't mean that every piece of governance under capitalism is going to be dedicated to this, in many cases, it's going to largely be just keeping the status quo running smoothly or to provide ancillary support for the main governing body. Obviously we should closely scrutinize what they do, as they are still going to largely follow capitalist interests, but maintaining a steady economy is not exclusive to capitalism and many policies and prescriptions would be just as valid under socialism.

If we're talking about anti vaxxers in particular, then it's only become such a big thing recently because it has only been spread through the creation of social media to allow people to spread completely unverified information on a massive scale. In most cases it's relatively harmless because people don't really do much with this information, it's just a cover-up or conspiracy (true or not) and they just go about their lives. At worst, they try to get others to believe this. Look at the growth of the Qanon or Alex Jones cults and how much social media allowed them to grow not because of the leaders themselves, but because social media allowed people to fall in with groups so easily to confirm and magnify their quiet feelings of uncertainty into full blown paranoia and jingoism.

In the case of antivaxxers, it's been resulting in immediate, serious damage to public health. Sure, the movement has existed for decades, but here immunity really does rely on near universal immunity. Once that starts breaking down by even a small percent the whole system starts breaking down. Public health is a socialist issue.

Are we wrong to question what's being used? No, for the same reason we should have kept questioning tetraethyllead half a century ago, something that almost certainly caused major public health damage, and it was known at the time that it was hazardous and avoidable. However vaccines have a very powerful, proven, positive net benefit to public health, the harm has not been verified by any better academic paper yet that I am aware of.

So yes the agencies of the government have an interest in opposing anti vaxxer movements that is not purely class warfare.

The point wasn't that QAnon or Jones were legitimate or smart or anything, the point was that they acted largely, or exclusively, through decentralized social media to influence people, and that they have managed to reach hundreds of thousands of people compared to the use of traditional centralized media forms alone.

The same is true of anti-vaxxers. There might have been a movement for decades, but it's been largely limited to traditional forms of spreading. Now that it's very easy to spread through new media formats, the sheer level of exposure and the fact that it does have a damaging behavior attached unlike most conspiracy theories means that it is a thing that is in the public health's best interest to combat it without any need for the involvement of capitalist interest.
