Seriously, these absolute psychopaths should just get a real job and stop extorting rent from people. Even a fucking capitalist at least accumulates capital, landlords do nothing but are literally just parasites. Also no socialist country had homelessness to there is literally no reason to expropriate all landlords and loosing not even a bit of living quality.

In my current apartment, I've never even met my landlord in person. 95% of the deal and signing was through a pretty chill maintenance guy. The other 5% was my own volition. Most I've ever gotten from my landlord is a text wishing me a happy birthday. Where are you people finding these scumbag landlords?

I think my grandma might be the worst kind of landlord, she gets these old and crippled tenants who live on social security and tries to be their friend, drives them everywhere, fixes up their apartments, and tries to help them in their relationships. She believes in capitalism with a human face wholeheartedly, FDR's her favorite president and her analysis is that capitalism in the US went to shit because the government allowed multinationals to take over and the bourgeoisie aren't in the communities as their workers, their kids used to go to the same schools etc.

They are bored. They don't need to work (they have a janitor who does that), and they probably need to tell themselves in the mirror that "they have a job" so they need to go on patrol and be a control freak (typical petit-bourgeois psychosis btw).
