Communism with turkish characteristics, the bloody roaches only went an did it.
Where else in the world is socialism flourishing, where shows the most promise or best hope for further advances? Alot of western twitter got a view of what international communism looks like with the awesome video Kerala communists made.
Use this thread as a place to get excited and organised, as capitalism was inevitable summation of feudalism, socialism is the only outcome that can come from capitalism.
Don't know how much of this is the case but apparently Argentina. Socialism (more specifically trotskyism) is getting more and more popular there. And with an inflation rate of ~70% with no signs of lowering will hopefully cause more people to radicalize.

We will all die before socialism reaches global heights.

you bastard, you bloody fuck.

This is interesting to me, as an anglo i have this impression of argentina as a con/neo-lib state ever since the military junta and the falklands. South American socialism has a real quality to it, so would be exciting to see if anything comes of it, especially with their proximity to chile/ brazil.

What is their affiliation, if they have any, with the other communist groups in turkey?
Colton Anderson
"The part sees AKP, CHP and MHP as bourgeois parties and classifies them as opposing class parties. The party has warm relations with ÖDP, EMEP and Halkevleri, sometimes organising joint activities in local levels.
The party defends an orthodox view in communist movement and urges the movement to define its borders clearly. The party is quite close to Communist Party of Greece and the Communist Party of the Peoples of Spain in international level. It has ties with many communist and worker's parties in the Middle East, Caucasus and Balkans. It has close relations with the Communist Party of Cuba, leading a pioneer role in the solidarity for Cuba. TKP is a member of the Initiative of Communist and Workers' Parties. The party joins the efforts to build an international focal point by issuing a magazine about communist theory called International Communist Review. The youth of TKP is a member of World Federation of Democratic Youth." t.TKP wikipedia

optimism in this day and age is unironically reactionary
Daniel Lee

Surely its pessimism thats the reactionary one, both literally and philosophically?

Not entirely sure how well i'll translate to french, nor whether the translation im seeing is accurate to your intention but we'll go on.
The issue you describe of your experience isn't exclusive to the left, but of much of society. In a system which preaches meritocracy, receiving a poor hand in life garners more than sympathy, it holds an amount of respect almost. A mutual recognition of character. I agree though that the left cant lie or coddle people.
Your stance on immigration is worded as if it comes from a place of compassion and empathy, but reeks of the same narrative as other anti-immigration arguments. The idea that these people, no matter how smart or qualified, have been "brought in" or "removed" as a matter of institutional immigration, rather than individuals making choices to seek better lives in countries that are evidently doing better economically. Again, perhaps the translation is skewing your words, and i agree would should be reimbursing many countries (reparations) as well as providing further support for them, but not as a matter of sending anyone back, or not even allowing them in in the first place.
" I do not want to say that I sympathize with the right." And yet, you say it there. I'm not sure what you mean specifically by "dishonest tools of cultural control", but its not the left that's in control of anything. Unless you're talking about Cuba, or Laos, or China, there's no leftist government in control of anything. Again, this argument reeks, ideas of "culture wars" are the domain only of the right wing and liberals who think there is such a thing to war over.

Mark my words guys. Turkey will be the first worker's state of the 21st Century.
Capitalism is decaying before our eyes. It is crumbling, the sun sets on an age. Through the stormy night, a new world emerges from the ashes of the old. The sun rises AND THE DAWN IS RED
Who was the dude that posted that "copypasta" about history unfolding as prophecy? Can someone post it?
From what ive read, the region they've been elected in is majority ethnic-kurdish. Tunceli province is eastern Turkey so i cant imagine a left wing party in the east of turkey would be elected without also being pro-kurd, but im not familiar with their policy platform whatsoever
They use the Kurdish name for the province, so I'd say thry are friendly.
Carter Torres
it is becoming increasingly difficult for people to deny the decay and downward spiral capitalism is in. it iwll take time, and will take action and influence on our part to make it happen, but it's possible.
I really don't understand why people think capitalism is stable right now, maybe they're too blind to see it.
Josiah Mitchell
Trotskism only gets like 5% of votes at most, dude.
Source: I'm argentinian
Isaac Turner
That is huge for a western nation. I'm chilean and in our latest elections a ML candidate got 0.8% of the votes (~20.000). To give you an idea that is even less than the amount of total militants that party has.
I wont lie, its been hard to keep faith recent months/years. Ive slowly started ironically but not really supporting a hard brexit for acceleration reasons. It's good to so elsewhere theres real change happening
Jonathan Allen
Accelerationism is a retarded meme. Get out and organize if you give a shit about anyone but yourself.
Gabriel Smith
still figuring out whether or not i do give a shit, but youre spot on with this one
`>>2854723 I've been a leftist since 2007. I remember raids on FRSO, I remember Occupy, and I remember everything else before, after, and inbetween. Y'all(I'm southern stffu about this) should be optimistic as fuck and fighting harder than ever. The left has exploded the past few years. Sure there are a ton of Bernie fags, but they are all potential communists. At worst the succdems have actually revived American communism and given us an opportunity to recruit a few hundred thousand people. If we fail to reach such a low bar it is out own failing because the opportunity is there. Even the worst anti-communist propaganda has limited reach. When real people fill the gaps the lies fall apart. We have to fight for more constantly. There is no end to our struggle in sight.

I'm peruvian and I don't know if the left will win in 2021. But at the rate of the stagnation of markets, commodities and more.Probably the population will get angry at the goverment(now is more a peacekeeper than when the VP ascended and was frontal against the corrupt right/maybe he is corrupt also, who knows?). But in 2016 the people's vote gave the left (reformist and somewhat socialist) 22%. And now they are preparing/ triying to unite in a coalition. Pic related: Communist party-Unity. New Peru (socialdemocrat) 2 leftist governors and one ex leftist governor(ex member of P,CP-Red fatherland.
I wish! In fact, any kind of worker's state would be more than I expect.

is it flourushing in greece? I've seen news clips of pretty big rallies in greece, and they don't look to be infested with idpol, either.

TurKKKey, like AmeriKKKa, is an illegitimate settler state which must be destroyed. Western Turkey will be returned to the indigenous Greeks, and eastern Turkey to the indigenous Armenians.
