This game just got announced for switch

isn't this implicit-explicit divide reduced to how politically educated someone is?

Like a Marxist will find more things explicitly political than say liberals

youre a good little lad

That's neat but I'll still shit all over it if the gameplay sucks. Good politics are no excuse for a bad game.

im looking around under all the comment sections about the game, to see all the butthurt and salt.

There's no such thing as non-political artwork, and implicitly political works only have two possible functions, reinforcing the status quo and questioning the status quo, and the latter can easily be commandeered by the liberal establishment and even people's own existing liberal ideology. If you had a story just about a vague "revolution" that wasn't explicitly socialist, people would find a way to twist it into being about personal development or whatever. If you close off all possible liberal misinterpretations of your work, it becomes explicitly political.

if i make electronic beats on my computer does that make me a capitalist thanks

Well, sure, "artwork" that says literally nothing isn't political. I'll give you that.

so pretty much all instrumental music then?
