Welcome to the Eastern Front, or more accurate would be to say what will become known as the Eastern Front considering there's no fighting yet. We're still in the 21st of June 1941, a day before the start of operation Barbarossa and the fascist invasion of the Soviet Union. You and your comrades as members of the armed forces of the USSR are given the momentous task of stopping the axis offensive and pushing the fascist hordes out of our lands. The road will be long and hard but I am certain that you are up for this task.

This lacks a lot of airforce options in terms of equipment, as well as the actual airforce (Planes and what not) as well as tanks for the army, river patrols for the navy.

That's exactly the reason I didn't post it there or on /tg/.
I was originally planning to everything you mentioned but because I decided to limit it to three types of infantry and a few support vehicles those ended up getting cut. Having to figure out mechanics, for separate airforce and navy vehicles would have been so much work that I'd have spent the next few months figuring them out and the amount of sheets I'd have to make would skyrocket just from the extra companions I'd have to make for pilots and sailors specifically. Maybe if I decide to expand on the vehicle mechanics (supposing this test-run doesn't pick off, of which there is a high possibility) I'll try and add more options and equipment to the next version.

I guess I'll have to either convince him or let him convince me of choosing the red army? The reason I choose the Airforce is so that it would seem more believable if we wanted to go behind enemy lines or to other conflicts of interests where soviet troops were dropped. We could rescue Hermaszewski from the Nazi-urks, we could go all the way to Battle of Sutjeska, we could participate in Partisan fighting like The Warsaw Uprising, Maquis du Vercors, We could fight with the Jan Žižka partisan brigade in helping the National Slovak Uprising. Although the red army were also involved in the Vyazma operation and the Dnepr/Kiev operation and those operations being massive it doesn't seem as dramatic as seeing Civilians being gunned down by say Einsatzgruppe H and not being able to do anything for fear of giving away your position and getting the rest of your comrades killed. In the red army you have the rest of the entire red army behind you whereas with the airborne you don't have any reliable support. I think the added desperation aspect would make this story more appealing.
airforce is good, there is much to be done in the air. however, the red army is the backbone of victory. we must march upon berlin, or not march at all, comrade. i'm actually impartial, i don't mind, we can play airforce if you guys want
to be fair /tg/ would have probably accepted it without too much bitching,tok/zynthia posting is way worse than that and it won't be the first commie stuff on there(post it on /trash/ for shit and giggles if everybody moan). It's a bit low on the picture side but a build is not that hard to make.
Fine, have it your way, I've already listened to these btw can you find more obscure ones? Preferablely ones below 10k or something from getchan, Jugoproject or Pakhmutovets (or the normal version of thier equivalent)?
Any support for adopting this as our divisional banner? It should fit for either the Army or the Airborne troops (with a little editing maybe) since those two branches seem to be the most popular.
