Vietnam you nonce. Also the naxalites control an area bigger than the UK

South Asia not South East Asia

Well India, People's Republic of Bangladesh and Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka are 'nominally' socialist, maintain mixed-economy with elements of planed economy and were friends with USSR. Basically they are not far left, because centre left have been in power for a long time there.

What kind of historical revisionism is this? Communist movements in Indonesia, Japan, India etc. were much larger than any European movement even at their peak.

Wut?

I meant to write former European colonies

You clearly didnt do the bare minimum research because the Indian subcontinent has massive historical and contemporary communist movements. India is going to be a big factor in revolutionary socialism going forward, CPI(M) consistently dominates politics in Kerala and has inroads throughout the country.

India has fucking enormous number of communists including the naxalite insurgency which has and still does maintain presence across vast swathes of the country, as well as a long history of socialist activism and party work and relations with the USSR. Nepal also has a history of lots of various communist parties, maoist protracted people's war and is currently governed by a democratically elected communist party. Afghanistan was literally a people's republic. South Asia has had and still has significantly more communists that the US, France or Britain ever had tbh.

Why aren't their any any Big communist movements in Pakistan

Forgot to add, but you are correct. Indonesia had one of largest communist parties in the world Sukarno was palls with USSR, but then US staged a coup and Suharto genocided all the communists

Pakistan is a mostly agrarian country with an underdeveloped industrial proletariat, also doesn't help it has been under military juntas for years and years and years so a trade union movement never really formed.

Sri Lanka's constitution straight up states that it's a socialist country, and none of the governments have had the balls to change that.
Also, just mentioning Kerala should be enough to completely disprove that there isn't a large communist movement.
Not to mention that India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh all have more effective mixed economies, and are more left leaning in economic policies in general, even compared to central and eastern european countries.

The only thing stopping this shithole world tipping into chaos is the white race. Once we are gone it will collapse into a communist turdskn sewer of unimaginable proportions. What is funny is that niggers ALWAYS return to despotic cannibalistic behavior once whitey is gone. The stupid fucking Jew always has our societies to hide in (and of course they then actively destroy them), just like niggers they will find out once its too late after they genocide us. I laugh imagining them being the only pale skin in a world of indians, pakis, chingchongs niggers and other assorted shitsmears. They have planned our genocide for thousands of years but I don't think they have fully thought this through. However, they are part nigger and do practice voodoo and child sacrifice so who knows.(USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST)

Stop saying "our" and "we" when you are nothing but some sort of unholy mystery meat mongrel from the US.
Even Hungarian gypsies are whiter than you guys.

Bangladesh won its independence with Maoist People's War no?

You're black you just don't know it

There was an attempted coup in 1952 but it failed and the biggest (and practically) leftist intellectual was imprisoned and politicians and generals sympathetic to the coup were executed or imprisoned.

The communist movement in South Asia is massive. The idea that the European communist movement has been historically bigger is just wrong. The CPI (M) (admittedly revisionist leadership) controls a support base of over 100 million. There are in India alone, hundreds of communist parties, and the smallest and most irrelevant of them are larger than every single European/American group, except the KPRF and KKE.

Just months ago, millions of Communist peasants rallied against the BJP govt. In Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka, the communist movements are similarly large. Pakistan has the smallest communist presence, but even there the movement dwarfs anything in Western Europe or the US.

Not into sakaist anti hwyte IDpol BS, but the reason you don’t hear about this is western chauvinism. Drama involving microsects of 10-30 people is broadcast throughout the world and fixated on by leftypol and western leftists, while struggles involving millions of communists in the global south are basically ignored.

1. “The Naxalites” are not a single group. There are a couple dozen Naxalite parties, most of which are actively at war with and killing each other (often more than they fight the state)

2. The statistic you are quoting is both old, and confused. The largest of the Naxal groups, CPI (Maoist) was “active” in a region as large as the UK. By active, this means they had groups of 10-100 people in a particular province. This is not equivalent to “controlling” it. CPI Maoist are pretty clear that they do not posses any base areas, although they do practice dual power in some tribal villages.

3. As mentioned this stat is really dated. IIRC, it is from 2012. By 2013 or early 2014, their power and activity was half of that due to massive repression during operation green hunt. By 2015 it halved again, and most of their leadership & mid level cadre were dead. Things only got worse from 2016 - 2017, although it is hard to find real statistics. There is some evidence of rebuilding in late 2017/2018, although they are nowhere close to their strength in 2012.

Not if right-wing niggers get their way.

Go and die then.

There were user. Read abt the 1968 movement in Pakistan. Also Pakistan elected a weird islamic socialist(Bhutto) in the 70s but he was deposed by a US backed islamist general and his nationalization policies arguably wrecked the countries’ economy. Zia class-cucked all of Pakistan and its been a reactionary hellhole ever since. The Pakistan People’s Party is currently hated because their most recent regime was a fucking hell to live through, and they took power after another literal military dictatorship. RN tho there are increasing leftist sentiments within the youth but its all bougie radlibbery and nothing that’ll develop class consciousness or actually help the working class.

not sufficiently proletarianized?

I think pakistan also elected a communist back in 2018 but im not completely sure abt who it was

No. Mukti Vahini was formed in response to crackdown in aftermath of Mujib's victory in 1970 general elections.
It was a arms struggle supported by India and culimunated with India invading the erstwhile East Pakistan.
It should be noted that Mujib wanted to establish a socialist state with his Baksal plan but got assassinated.

Allow me to introduce you three noted leftists from India

1. Bhagat Singh - Young revolutionary who fought against the British Raj. He was hanged by the british in 1931. He is also known as Shaheed-e-Azam (supreme martyr)
marxists.org/archive/bhagat-singh/index.htm

2. Charu Majumdar - Maoist who started an armed conflict with the state of India following Mao's people's war doctrine. This insurgency is known as Naxalism as it began from the village called Naxalbari
marxists.org/reference/archive/mazumdar/index.htm

3. Jyoti Basu - Once held the record of longest serving Chief Minister of any Indian state till 2018. His party - Communist Party of India (Marxist) has a history of being elected to power for 34 years straight (1975-2009) in the state of West Bengal. It should be noted that along with Kerala and Tripura, West Bengal used to be Communist Party's stronghold and source of their seats in the Parliament.

Pakistan has notable leftists in Faiz Ahmed Faiz (famous poet with left leaning) and a band called "Laal" (which literally means "red" in english).
Heck the band single handedly produced entire catalogue of leftist music for the entire country.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kanhaiya_Kumar
He is literally trolling the Right wing government in power since 2015.
He is contesting as a Communist Party of India (CPI) candidate in the ongoing General Elections in the country.

Taimoor Rahman is a bourgeous DHA-dwelling attention seeker. No we did now elect a commie in 2018.
The communist movement here is a joke.

This means fuck all. Take Bangladesh for example, they claim to be a “mixed economy” but then they let clothing factories get away with killing hundreds of workers.
