Biggest two things are welfare programs and co-ops. Both of these empower people directly and lower the rate of profit, thus preparing people to take care of themselves and speeding the final collapse (if people don't revolt first).

Second to this would be de-urbanization with a focus on making settlements more sustainable in the event of catastrophe like we can expect with climate change. If there was a systemic collapse right now, say, shipping infrastructure stopped, people in major cities would starve in like a week because they have to import so much food. I never understood this. Why increase tariffs? Tariffs is one thing I actually agree with lolberts on about. You artificially rise the prices which on the one hand keeps inefficient industries afloat and on the other makes the average consumer pay more, and on top of that allows for a national bourgeoisie to form.

The one negative thing I would expect is mass unemployment if the transition were too sudden. Which is why getting rid of tariffs should be gradual and with a heads up both for the workers and industry, so they could plan better and already go into training for a different job.

I don't need to, free trade is bad for the lower 90% or so of them. Just look at something like TTIP, how it was made, by whom, and what the public thinks about it. Historically strong regulation is what made the west the power it is today and only the upper class wants to open markets. Hindering porky's striving towards liberalization is a value in itself.

Gun rights in countries that don't have them. Obviously in the US this isn't a problem anymore (unless they get banned outright) but it will end up empowering the working class and make them see we socialists don't want to take their freedoms away or mess with their individual liberties.
