Hey Zig Forums, new lurker here. I don't really feel like I fit in with the left or right and I've had trouble finding a community that shares my views. I don't know what you would really call my ideology. I am economically communist, elitist / paternalist, not biologically racist, anti-feminist, against sex work, progressive leaning on LGBT issues, and a neo-luddite. Zizek, Christopher Lasch, and the Frankfurt School are some of my favorite lefty theorists outside of the typical Marxist canon. Is this board a good place for me, and would you welcome me as a comrade in the fight against capitalism and liberal fun?

From a basic moderation perspective, the mods only sperg out when they find anything they think it's "imperialist". Even though the board is dominated by Marxist-Leninists there's a good variation of takes, though as I said the heavy moderation fucks that up a bit.

I too oppose imperialism, so this shouldn't be an issue. Any other tips on not getting banned? The rule "Don't attempt to cloak reactionary politics in left-wing rhetoric" in the sticky has me a little nervous, along with the warning that non-leftists should be on "better behavior."

i wouldnt worry about getting banned unless you are illiterate, capable of multiple typos per post, racial epithets, and grossly ignoring another's arguments oh wait… people like that never get banned, nvm lol. it's just like any other boards on a chan, the moderation is inconsistent and like other user said, probably because some of the volunteers are spergy about trigger topics.

Honestly? simply find ways to avoid bans, moderation here fucking sucks, and like any other place in the entire internet you should be allowed to keep posting, as long as it's not spam or being intentionally obtuse.
Now, for the real answer, as you've said, you don't have any particular "reactionary" stances regarding anything to do with race, gender or sex, so I think you will be alright.

The moderators give out bans freely and arbitrarily. Making too good an argument from a POV not straightforwardly communist will do it. I haven’t kept an exact track, but I think I have three bans for egalitarian capitalism, two bans for no apparent reason, one for objecting to thread consensus, three for posting garbage rhetoric of low quality, and three for openly discussing the frequency with whoch I get banned for posting.
