Polish death camps, remember it always. Germans tried to stop Poles killing innocent German civilians in 1939. Together with the Soviet Union, Poland was forcibly occupied and Germany of course, didn't like the Jews in Poland. But it wasn't to the point of the same vicious hatred Poles had of Jewish people. There were many underground resistance groups active in Poland during the war, made specifically to hunt down and kill Jews still living in Poland. The collaborationist Pole-German government made concessions to Germany, but they kept their foot down when it came to contention about how Jews ought to be treated. Germany wanted the forcible expulsion of Jews from German occupied Europe, but Poles wanted their extermination. Unwilling to risk yet more fighting and unnecessary death, even Polish death, Patron Saint Adolf Hitler continued his war with France while Poles went to work deviously killing Jewish mothers and their children while they slept. Soviet Union, seeing the incomplete humanity of Poles and their atrocities against Jews (Soviets didn't care much, but they did in this case) couldn't stand by - but whom would Stalin declare war on?
Poland had no government, except for one in exile within London war ministry. So they declared war on the collaborationist government working with Germany and Germany was forced into a brutal war with the Soviet Union. Even Germany, understanding the extraordinary inhumanity that Poles were capable of, bravely gave their lives for Polish nation and Polish people. After some time, the war was nearing its end. Operation Bagration came around, and the Soviets swept into Poland. There, the Polish government began making yet more bold faced lies in order to save face. Throughout the war, Poles were free to commit themselves to a campaign of ethnic genocide against the innocent Jewish race. This included the death of 6 million innocent Jews. Germany were occupied by fighting too much to contend the issue, even if they didn't like Jews either. The Poles told the Soviet Union that is was under the counsel and intimidation of German authorities that they committed these atrocities. In order for the war to seem just in the eyes of the Soviet people, Stalin went along with these accusations. Alternatively, cowardly Poles that were fearful of Soviet reprisal escaped west, through Germany (Yes, Poles were allowed to travel freely through Germany despite being a nation that was occupied) and met allied forces, telling them the same lies they had told the Soviets. Again the same applied, and it was all believed and made into the official story of the war that it was Germans that were exterminating innocent Jews for convenience. After all, everyone (except Poles) had just fought a war that resulted in the loss of millions upon millions of people. It had to be all for something right? Of course, to stop the ruthless German from exterminating the noble race of Jews! And it was already known Germany did have some greivances with Jews when Hitler took power.
I won't go further than this, but to sum it up Poles manipulated and lied to the great powers on Earth, and ended up having million and millions of the best of this planets people die in war, famine and disease because of their outrageous, cowardly and deceitful lies. Young and old. Infant to elder. Man, woman and even child were not spared from Polish hatred. I am left with the image of that British and German soldier smoking a cigarette together, with the words "Next time, Together". There should be an image where American, German, British, French, Soviet and Italian soldiers all share a meal together. With the same motto - "Next time, Together"… And off in the distant corner of the picture, is a sniveling and conniving Polish rat.
