Beautiful firearms

Firearms that you consider beautiful. They don't have to be good, but they have to pass Æ S T H E T I C S check. Bonus points for weird firearms.
Yes, it is subjective, so post a reason you like the gun, of you can describe it.

I like big firearms, for their subclass. When I was a kid, I used to like Beretta. When I grew up, I fell in love with CZ. They are very smooth and pretty - beautiful gun, and super fun to shoot. Best thing coming out of Czechia after beer. Old and new editions alike - all just as pretty.
BBW (big beautiful weapon). The sexy grip curve, even more curvy buttstock, carry handle, sights - I love everything about this rifle, and I vote FAL for the most pretty fullsized rifle ever.
Why not. Hardly anyone argues about æsthetics of 1911. Tanfoglio just makes it look a little bit better
The most æsthetic revolver ever. If you are a 30± yo boomer like me, you likely played Half-life, and you should know that it was the most satisfactory weapon to shoot ingame.

This is not all of course, but those are first things that came to mind.

I like your taste brother. This is my personal favorite 'aesthetic' gun even though imo performance wise it's not very good. If you need a scope for a handgun you're missing the point of having a fucking handgun, but that's just my opinion.

The best advantage S&W have over Colts is that you can buy them with ease right now. Pythons atm are a collector's item idk really, maybe someone clones them
I like how S&W look too but they lack the amazement and nostalgia part.

does this count?

Firearms aren't flowers, they're functional tools.

Their beauty comes from how well they carry out their function, and the level of engineering involved.

You're implying my gun isnt the prettiest thing you've ever seen?

Wow Strelok, that's…

Granted, this would look better with real wood Everything would look better with real wood though or if they swapped the plastic parts for a non-imitation colour. Despite that though this weapon just looks beautiful. Both lightweight and still solid. It's the most popular civilian/home defence SMG from the timeline where very polite, neighbourly, and well read kommandos make up the majority of the electorate. Let's just agree that the weapon would be built for a less retarded calibre in that world.

Guns aren't tools, they are weapons. Second, making things ugly does not make anything more useful. Even if we all agree that aesthetics may not make a rifle better in function, we have to also admit that making things ugly does not make the rifle function any better.

Everything in this universe has many attributes and dimensions, this is reality, many different discriptions and values. The great difficulty to understanding is often the many ways to see, perceive, and the multiple dimensions to perceive, make a total and comprehensive understanding difficult to impossible. Often these many values and attributes are relative ton one another, often they are not. It is totally possible to have something fully aesthetic and fully functional. Possible to have something both purely ugly and totally worthless.

It also means the whole idea that we have to make ourselves numb or purposefully ignorant to these many values to focus on one value often leads to a world where we don't actually gain focus or understand the whole any better, often we just lose out, are made less by our lessened understanding. When it comes to guns throwing out aesthetics, or making a gun ugly on purpose, does not make our understanding or capability increase, nor does it make the gun more; it only makes the gun something far less in its totality.

Numbing yourself, limiting the dimensions of things you perceive does not make the man better focused on the "important" values, it just makes him less. This was the entire point of 1984, the Communists destroyed the language to destroy thought and limit thought and range of thought. Destroy words and language you force people to think only in the way you want them to think. Destroy the dimensions and all the ways to speak and think and you slowly hammer the man and his ability to think and feel down.

This is Cultural Marxism, the war on aesthetics is the war on everything to control your thoughts through perception. Don't let the talking heads fool you into thinking that destroying aesthetics of things makes them more functional, their only goal is to make less of everything to corner your thoughts and perception to control you. Everything form the language, to music, to home decor, to cars, to, yes, guns. You aren't making people better "operators" by attacking aesthetics, you are doing their bidding.

Don't fall for the other left wing general ideology of fake equality and its "If I lose Y I must gain X" mentality. We end up with retardation like "All ugly women must have great personalities to compensate for their lack of aesthetics" "Women must be smarter than men because they are weaker than men", "All beautiful people have bad hearts" and "All beautiful things must be evil" and "All good or functional things must be ugly".

I know revolvers are dated compared to what I can buy in the US, but I've always had a hard on for them.

Not nemicarsilly.
They may not be semi auto, but they make up for it with much more powerful rounds compared to a semi. There are .375 loads out there that make .45 look bitch made.

(Checked)

What gun is that because I think I'm in fucking love. Please for the love of god give a link and take my damn savings.

There are many pretty weapons. I'm a lazy faggot, so here's only one. Not my falt tbh, I post 10 webms/mp4s on the music thread and it was completely ignored. Modern weapons are fugly.

The stock sucks ass but at least it does look good.

New Skorpions are quite pretty (they are like SCAR's younger brothers in pic related setup), but I kind of like the drooling version as well, czechs are good at making compact autofire pistols.

With you there, both have a classic movie look. Shame the EVO civilian model is like what, 30 rounds and semi-auto?

I have never seen a more cyberpunk gun that isn't a movie prop or something from a video game than this

Attached: dickie-mccarthy-ots-prog-012.jpg (1692x1301, 377.45K)

being as you're pasting an image created by a digital artists' demonstration of technical prowess in creating things that don't exist, you don't have the strongest argument on "not video game"

archive.is/iJGlP

But it turns out the thing really exists, and while I don't know if the upper piston is or can be equipped with a laser sight, the bottom hole is the barrel, so as delineated in your image, it has a negative bore axis.

Also it's silent.

Too bad they'll never, ever import them, same with the pl-14. However, this impostor svu is quite beautiful.

The first one is ridiculous and I love it, and the last is one sexy, sexy chunk of metal and wood.

Something is so aesthetically pleasing about this rifle.

Wow, they even added a Pic rail and managed to make it look not gay. That's pretty talented.

HK33 looks better tbhyes, its 53, but i'm lazy to search

SIG550 in 5.56 always seemed like a wasted potential. Why don't they make it in at least 6.5 Grendel?

Attached: vahanrifle.jpg (1200x631, 50.83K)

This. In a 1v1 I'd want a revolver over a semi auto pistol. The semi-auto pistols with larger mags are better for more combatants.

nigger you wouldn't do jack shit

Attached: Shansei 45ACP 2.jpg (600x495 152.53 KB, 126.9K)

the feature I care the least about, but yeah

HK33 does look good, but I can't go buy one like I can a PTR.

Aren't they sold in US as HK93?

The last one i was aware of is the Century Arms C93, and i try to avoid their products like the plague. It seems that HK no longer sells them here, and the ones available via private sellers are fetching $3k+.

There's always Brethren Arms, you can get the real experience of Heckle My Koch by paying through the nose for all their stuff.

Eh, $2k for their 33 clone ain't too bad, I suppose. Still a grand more than a PTR32, so not something I'm going to really bother with. Pic related is a pretty aesthetic rifle

Bluing alone doesn't make a gun pretty. Imagine blued hi point.

Attached: Hi-Point upgraded.jpg (960x720, 234.04K)

Bluing is good but the look is easily ruined by fingerprints. Parkerizing is nicer the same way waxed canvas looks more comfy and classy than a business suit.

I like the look of amphibious guns

why

I miss when things weren't just plastic everything.

Retards with money.

What did they do? Polish the trigger guard or what? Why is it bad?

They drilled a bunch of pockmarks into the steel on the trigger guard so the index finger of their support hand has grip on it.
It's bad because it doesn't make sense and makes it look ugly.

Oh, right. I'm stupid as i assumed that filenames "before" and "after" represent the wrong action done, not revert it.

you and me both

Beautiful, if only not that stupid camo

speierdalaj kurwa

Those are 540's, strelok. Chilean ones, no less. Why exactly our army went with the goylils instead of just modernizing the SIGs I don't know.

Peak performance boyos

Attached: 571[1].jpg (1800x656, 87.87K)

Isn't that just a M14?

Attached: 09c.jpg (818x768, 253.67K)

No, read the description in the image, it's a M1 Garand that has been converted to .308, and has been converted to use M14 magazines.

I actually think that that M1 conversion is great. The stock is ugly though.

It's just a normal wood stock painted camo.

Yeah well painting over the Mona Lisa with camo wouldn't look very pretty either.

I meant isn't a M1 Garand with a detachable box magazine just a M1A?

No.

No, it has a horrible gas piston meme dogleg thing too, so it's worse in every way than an M1A

The op rod are the same on both. Its the gas system that is different. The M14 can handle any .308 load, the M1 is stuck with a specific 150gr/168gr load, anything else damages it.
t.guy who owns them.

Would sending in a Korth combat to be polished like those guns lower it's value?

Attached: korth_combat_revolver1.jpg (618x340, 62.86K)

Nigger if you want wanna have your Korth polished then fucking DO IT. You can do whatever you want to your guns if it makes you happy assuming you aren't destroying a piece of history, fuck (((collector's value))). And if you find yourself in a situation where you have to sell your Korth to save your ass then you probably shouldn't have bought the Korth in the first place.

I just think it looks cool and I like the idea of an AK in 8mm Mauser

Attached: 800px-Zastava-M76-Full.jpg (800x306, 26.58K)

I'm probably a bit biased since I just bought one today, but the 4" version in particular looks like complete sex.

My nigga
It looks like East Germany distilled down into one rifle.

Its fairly easy to shorten some Yugo weapon, afghani "gunsmiths" do it all the time because they have a fuckload of 8mm mauser ammo. The funniest part is Serbia wants to switch to 8mm mauser and 6.5mm grendel as main cartridges - "we are too poor to be thrifty" philosophy.

So many guns that I cannot own due to communist gun laws. Don't ever give the libshits a fucking inch burgeranons. The moment you let them ban even a single type of firearm is the moment you are doomed to lose them all sooner or later. Protect your guns as if they were your children. Beat the commies anywhere you see them. Fucking kill them all if you need to. Do not lose the right to bear arms.
