Mary was essential cementing the church during the first years. I'm sure people saw Christ when looking at her. Truly the most blessed person on earth.

Mary assented of her own free will to be obedient. It's impossible to separate her from our salvation. Protestants seem to think she either had no choice or that if she declined Gabriel would've just tried asking some other woman down the street.
