I envy the freedom that the Americans take for granted, and don't want 20~30% of my earnings going to tax. Aside from the whole tipping business and the 56% demographic thing, America does seem like nice place to live. I may have grown up in Australia and Japan, but the US seems like a good mix of both of them, with the towering mountain ranges, vast forest, and endless plains.

56% is a forced meme by leftists, and what's wrong with tipping? Waiting tables is pretty much the highest-earning unskilled job in the country. I manage a restaurant, and it's not rare at all to see an employee go home with $100 or more in tips from one day of work. A good waiter gets rewarded for being good, shitty waiters get paid less, as it should be in a free market… minimum wage is harmful to all workers. The best part is, since tips aren't legal payroll, the majority of a waiter's earnings are non-taxable, meaning that they keep more of their income than pretty much any other job except for independent contractors and people working under the table.

Other countries are honestly the ones who have the problem, because many of them make tipping illegal, like Australia.
