I have just realized why the people of Israel were not allowed to racemix. It is wicked. Why didn’t Jesus warn people about this specifically?

Because there are more important things to worry about; things like finding God and finding a godly marriage in an ever-increasingly ungodly world.

From one man, Adam, he made every man and woman and every race of humanity, and he spread us over all the earth. He sets the boundaries of people and nations, determining their appointed times in history. (Acts 17:26)
It's not racemixing, in fact if you look at Jesus' bloodline, you'd understand there were non-Israelites who were physically adopted into Israel and into the bloodline. The reason God commanded them to be a separate people was in order for them to be Holy since the world around them were incredibly wicked and lost and intermarrying with other tribes would introduce idolatrous filth from the outside world. In a similar vein, we are to be separate ourselves from the World and to dedicate our lives to Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of Heaven. Store up treasures in Heaven, not on Earth. Hope this makes sense.

Why would Jesus have to repeat what’s already said in the Old Testament?

"If a stranger shall sojourn with you and would keep the Passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised. Then he may come near and keep it; he shall be as a native of the land. But no uncircumcised person shall eat of it."
Exodus 12:48

Deut 9:
4 Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the Lord thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the Lord hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the Lord doth drive them out from before thee.

5 >>>Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart,

Moses had an ethiopian wife.
The problem was religious intermixing, not racial intermixing. Typically the "non israelites" weren't monotheists….

Because it wasn't an issue you mog

Race mixing isn't entirely wicked because we no longer need to protect the bloodline of Jesus Christ however it should not be encouraged as it amounts to ethnocide and you should care about your ethnic nation as your neighbours.

She was of a different bloodline (Midianite), but she wasn't black Ethiopian. Don't spread confusion.

no. this is like saying celibacy promotes ethnocide.

anyone you meet becomes 'your neighbor' in the biblical sense.

who knows how dark she was or how pure she was, the israelites were mixing left and right back then, just like they are now

Because the Canaanites and co were chinese, or what?
You are crowbaring 21st century racial politics into Bronze Age Middle East.

Kushite was pretty much synonymous with black, skin wise.
We can meme about the proportion of "muh admixtures" in this situation, but the situation doesn't change.
She was really dark skinned, and God sent leprosy to Moses's siblings as an ironic punishment for priding themselves on being light-skinned.

This.
Exodus jews were accompanied by "a mixed multitude" from the region when they left Egypt, and Old Testament warfare rules said you could take foreign female captives as concubines.
It's not exactly Nuremberg Laws tier the point God was making.
Solomon didn't get punished for marrying pretty much everyone he had diplomatic relations with, but for his marriages leading him to dedicate temples and sacrifices for pagan gods.

Half the ceremonial law us there to say "you are Mine, now stop doing shit that leads you to pray to neighbouring gods….again"

She may have been dark skinned, but the Midianites were descendants of Shem I believe. Unless I was misinforned, let me know. I don't want to spread misinfornation.

At the end of the video the rabbi speaks a little about racemix among the Jews.

Oh… this thread again.

Go read Galatians instead of trying to live by the law if you want to talk to Christians

Where does Galatians tell you to break moral law?

Attached: FDCEE0B8-F383-43AD-9AD5-7418E65C45F1.png (1500x952, 158.55K)

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus - Galatians 3:28

Wasn't talking about the moral law, was talking about the customs- like race mixing, which is now obsolete.

Only the ceremonial stuff doesn’t matter anymore because Jesus’ sacrifice fulfilled it. Moral law like miscegenation, prostitution, and adultry are still considered bad, or are you going to tell me Jesus was kind to prostitutes so prostitution is okay now?

Well, the point still stands. God didnt put up with their discrimination.

There is no canon or rule in christianity or judaism(pre or post Second Temple) against marrying a coreligionist of another race or ethnicity.
Its likely a bad idea, but its nonetheless valid.

Where did this meme originate? I doubt any of the Church fathers ever stated that you can't have children with someone who's descended from a different son of Noah. and are correct.

I don’t think the church fathers told us not to set our clothes our fire either. It’s still in the Bible and we should listen to it. It’s common sense.

It also says there is neither male nor female. So if you use that to claim racial categories don't matter in marriages, you'd also have to say sex doesn't matter in marriages. Love is love.

The Bible doesn't say that anywhere. I k ow you believe fornication means mixed breeding, but it doesn't. It means all of the explicitly forbidden sexual acts in the law, as in incest, adultery, bestiality, and homosexuality. Every one of those is listed, yet you keep deliberately ignoring the mixed multitude who God permitted the Israelites to intermarry with.

If the vast consensus of people agree those parts of the Bible arent about interracial marriage, im pretty sure ITS NOT ABOUT INTERRACIAL MARRIAGE.
Stop trying to make it about it.

Wot?
Deuteronomy 7-1: When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;
7-2: And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
Exactly what verses are you referring too where God was fine with intermarriage?

Well thank goodness the vast consensus speaks for God. Should we also support Israel like the vast consensus of Protestants?

In Genesis 28 Jacob was blessed for taking a wife of his father’s seed and God blesses him by having his descendents inherent the land for quite some time. This is in perfect accordance with Tobit 4:12 as well. But no one reads their Bible, today. We just get told to assimilate to the values of modernity and believe it’s Biblical, which is a combination of original sin and lying.

If you cant find any decent theologian outside of christian identitarianists that sees this stuff as being about interracial, im 99% sure your interpretation is just retarded.

Muh appeal to authority

“Ye do the works of your father. They said unto him, We were not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:41‬ ‭
When talking about being the seed of Abraham they brag of not being born of fornication and having one father. To me that sounds like bragging about purity but what do I know. I’m just some random autist who reads the Bible.

Please see

Well some Cushitic peoples in the modern sense such as Somalis have striking similarities with the ethnic group known as the Nabataeans. So in those times they may have been viewed as related like other Canaanite "Hamites" may have also been. Other Semitic ethnicities in the Arabian Peninsula and in Ethiopia may be more strongly associable as descendants of Shem. It's also mentioned the Kenites were nomadic so they could be similar or related to various Bedouin type groups (Bedawi is the origin of the word Bedouin and is also used to refer to the Beja people of modern day Egypt, Eritrea, and Sudan.

This blackwashing of history is disgusting. I’m seeing it everywhere now.

Except that there is a more specific scripture that goes to the point on marriages:

1 Corinthians 7:2
Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

See, the general rules is that no distinction except Christian and non-Christian matters.

Then, there's a more specific rule that says, in sexual situations, it's one man, one woman, that's a marriage and avoids pornea

I didn't say Galatians spoke specifically to marriage, what it does is make all other labels generally invalid. Yet, in the specific arena of marriage, Paul has a more specific teaching.

This teaching also corresponds to what Christ taught about marriage and, indeed, what is generally revealed from the Holy Spirit.

Your teaching about race-mixing is divisive- Paul also speaks out against such teachings.

Whether it's the overall spirit of our faith, or whether it's a careful reading, race-mixing not an issue, gay marriage is a sin.

I think this is pretty much obvious to everyone but a few crazies that love the color of their skin more than Jesus.

God hates the racemixed.
God hates the amerimutt.
