Look at cheap tacticool crap, like chest rigs and pouches. There's lots of niche shit that missed their market by a few years and are pretty cheap.
There are some okay-ish ~$50(and under) optics that are either on par with or better than durr scopes from the 70s in terms of reliability, just look at reviews before you buy and don't get one without those reviews. That one Bushnell red dot is pretty great and always hovers around fifty bucks.
Cold Steel is a brand I would ONLY buy using a gift card. Neat shit, but weird and I'd feel dirty spending an earned dollar on it.
Gloves if you don't have a good pair already, maybe a hat with the same order. tfw have to wear an XL hat and there's jack shit variety for me out there
Duct tape and paracord will always be useful.
Cheapo sewing kits because it's a great skill to have, should also look into a kit for sewing leather since you may need it.

Curry roux to make Japanese Curry with. It's amazing and that+ginger (which should be in any decent supermarket) are the only unusual things you need to make it. You can make roux yourself with butter, flour, curry powder, gahram masala and pepper powder, but that takes a lot of work and it's really hard to know if you got it right without having the dish prior.

Get a good utility knife like a Morakniv and a swiss army knife/other well built multitool that you can always carry with you. They're both around under 30$ each so you could probably get both for the price. If you get a SAK I can vouch for a Victorinox Huntsman, it's a popular and inexpensive model and comes with everything you should expect and need.
