Imageboard outreach ministry

I think it would be a nice idea if there was an active imageboard outreach ministry. Like if you like going to places like 4chan Zig Forums, /r9k/ etc that get a lot of traffic or other boards that would be somewhat amenable to threads about Jesus, search the catalog and see if there's a thread about God in there already and bump it. Maybe even try to keep a "Christianity general" thread going if you can, or if not just post something like "Jesus loves you!" because maybe the anons reading that have never heard someone say that to them and really mean it. This is already happening because of passionate anons like sharing the good news, I just thought it would be nice if those of us who are passionate about evangelization could think about it this way, as a ministry we're part of together. Let's fish for men, I want to see all of my internet brothers in heaven some day!

I like this idea.

Sure, why not? As I look around, it seems /islam/ is already doing it. There are even Muslim-positive threads on /b/! We should be out there spreading the truth.

This is a good idea.

This is how the Gheytheists, Fagan shitposters, and Gnostic /x/tards were brought here in the first place.

...

Hes right though, What good is a populated board if it's full of trolls and shills.

The idea isn't necessarily to invite everyone to come here to this board. It's to invite everyone into the Church! That's what's most important.

So, if your friend is a drunkard, you would never try to get him to church for fear that he may show up drunk? I don't know why I have to keep saying this on a CHRISTIAN board, but:

The Church is a hospital, and not a courtroom, for souls. She does not condemn on behalf of sins, but grants remission of sins.

I think that we're treating this board differently, you're look for a place to help others while I'm look for a thorough comparison without repeating the same debunked information.

It's not forgiveness, mercy or helping others to find the help they need that is the problem, it's the the people who come here and pass misinformation off (unintentional or not), like the New Ager who tried to convinced us that jesus was calling us Gods, or when he tried to convince us that fapping is okay, or the Muslim who used his false academic authority to hand wave webms that debunked the bible being corrupted. I personally enjoy talking about these topics with people who share opposing views, however the people here (in the majority of the time,) don't want to talk they just want to troll or bash you over the head with what they believe. they don't want to get the full picture of the obvious satanic lies they have learned. They usually just present stale troll arguments like Jesus is a jew, or the Abrahamic religions worship the same God, and don't research enough to know that the bible has an answer to saturn's/metatron's cube, claiming that the tarot cards influenced the torah or the bible even though it came out in 18th century or how they trust the idiotic alternative gospels over the original gospel.

It's one thing to help people and it's another to try to convince someone who has already learned that they're a God/goddess. Imagine trying to talk to those idiots who believe that God is a black woman, because of some irrelevant and tiny anomaly where women asexually reproduce or because of a stage of fetus development. Also I don't see telling others what God is as helpful, people have to experience God to every really believing in him and even then some don't change.

TL;DR: There comes a point where it becomes diminishing. They don't care about the help or truth, they just want feel confident while avoiding exchange.

Here is the opposite extreme.

Mmm … that is entirely possible. I treat this board as if it actually were a church and I act accordingly. I also don't mind discussing strange interpretations of God and scripture with others … after all, I did grow up around Southern Baptists. :^)

I came here from Zig Forums. So its kinda worked i guess. hi btw, everyone

The first part of that vid about women reproducing asexually was v interesting. I wonder how much is bs but I can't be bothered to check.

Hi brother! I also came back to the Church thanks to Zig Forums.

This sounds like a good idea. Maybe we could organize "mission trips" where we group up and go start an "ask some christians anything" thread on other boards.

Sounds like those threads would just get spammed to death with gay porn to be honest.
People don't like outsiders coming to their boards and starting threads about themselves, especially a group like Christians, which to many would seem like prime trolling material

The idea of calling funposting a "mission trip" makes me smile

I did, it's a small biological anomaly, not enough to say women, or even black women are God beings that can reproduce asexually 0.5% of the time. The same goes for the other small pieces of science propping up his deification of black women, like gender development starting with female sex organs, or male chromosomes being smaller. Regarding that Bartholin Gland, there are also the biology in humans for pheromones except it's missing the driving piece, but that doesn't mean that we can be attracted just by smells, even if women can smell the attractive symmetry of men's faces through their sweat scientificamerican.com/article/are-human-pheromones-real/ . This " maybe we could have used to have God women because of this gland that we don't use anymore" is not reliable, and his insistence that because be believes we live in a patriarchy isn't either. He also erroneously hints at Jesus and Mary as being a copy of Horus an Isis, as well as quoting Anita Sarkeesian.

Here are the two studies that he refrences.

Dont bother. It will basically go like you being a dumbass invites all the shitty people in this board without even bothering to explain things to them. Just like how people give pamphlets to strangers in irl and the pamphlet here is this board.

Dont ruin whats left on this board. The best things you guys can do is subtely or heavily imply you are a Christian and inspire others with your words or actions.

What could be a good idea is to start Christianity General threads on 4/pol/, and in the threads inspire them to evangelise to places like r9k. I think /his/ and /lit/ might be receptive too.

thanks for the info and post
No I know lol that's why i only mentioned the first part of the vid re: the asexual reproduction

While I wanna tell those faggots the Good News I don't have the guts to hang around with them.

I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. (Matthew 10:16)

Unless the board has high traffic and slight religious alignment, I would personally mic-drop the Name of Jesus and intertwine Bible verses as you funpost. Personally, I used to do this a lot in /adv/ before the mods started to ban me for any reason they could muster up. I should go back there again.

But isn't this board being on this site a kind of imageboard outreach ministry by virtue of its existence?

But people come to us here on Zig Forums. Outreach implies we are comming to them on thier boards.

That's fine, a lot of us are already Christian anyway.
On /a/, anyway.
