Parkland siblings and gun-control activists David and Lauren Hogg will be guests on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday.
The Hoggs will be promoting their new book, “#NeverAgain: A New Generation Draws the Line,” which will also be released Tuesday.
Published by Random House, the 165-page book chronicles their experience surviving the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting and how their generation sparked gun-control and school-safety advocacy.
The siblings — David a recent graduate and Lauren a member of the Class of 2021 — plan to donate proceeds from the book to charity and community groups. Random House also plans to make a donation to Everytown for Gun Safety, a New York-based nonprofit group.
Fallon has been a big supporter of the Stoneman Douglas student activists.
In March, he was one of several celebrities who took part in their “March For Our Lives” rally in Washington D.C.
Fallon also spoke at the Stoneman Douglas graduation earlier this month.
“My wife and I brought our two little girls because we wanted them to see what hope and light looks like,” Fallon told the graduating class at the BB&T Center in Sunrise on June 3.
“Every bad experience can have something good come out of it,” he said at the ceremony, where he was cheered by the students and their parents. “You guys have already proved that. You took something horrific — instead of letting it stop you, you started a movement, not just here in Florida but around the whole world. The whole world has heard your voice and that was you making a choice. And that was you choosing hope over fear.”
The “Tonight” show airs at 11:35 p.m. weekdays on NBC (WTVJ-Ch. 6 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale and WPTV-Ch. 5 in West Palm Beach).
