A LESSON LEARNED ABOUT BULLYING
when Facebook first came along, they bullied Myspace much like children on a playground.
Basically, Facebook trolled MySpace, and MySpace caved in like a fucking bitch.
We all know that Facebook is a worthless piece of shit, but when they first appeared on the scene, nobody knew what Facebook truly was.
MySpace wasn't perfect by any means, but let's stop and think about this for a minute…
MySpace was a totally free, fully customizable, unlimited personal website for each user, where you could modify it with templates, giving it your own personality, embedding videos and music and all other kinds of bells and whistles.
You could make your MySpace page as wild and crazy as you'd like, or make it as mild and conservative as you'd like.
Facebook is like a preparatory school, where everybody has to wear the same boring blue and white uniform, conforming to a predetermined dress code and code of conduct.
MySpace was like an art college where you could express yourself however you wanted, and individuality was encouraged.
The problem with MySpace was that THEY ALLOWED THEMSELVES TO BE BULLIED AND TROLLED.
They were terrified by the 'big meanie' that came around the corner, and they caved in, chickened out, and folded…
MySpace was stupid as shit, because when they tried 'reinventing themselves' years later, (a miserable failure) they sold out, and proved that they didn't have any balls, by minimizing and trying to conform, which was the exact opposite of their original platform….
What MySpace SHOULD HAVE DONE was laugh at Facebook, and shown a little self confidence, and reminded users that Facebook was a boring, limited, uptight shithole, where everyone has to conform, while MySpace was your own free hosted website, where you can be as dynamic and individual as possible…
This is a valuable lesson for cowards.
Somebody needs to buy MySpace, reopen it, make it like the old days, only better, and put Facebook in the dumpster.
