The Future of War

In which an E-celeb shows off military hardware and talks with a 4 star general about the current state and future of war.
Good information? Bad information? Worthless military propaganda? Useful military propaganda? Discuss. We also have the Fed term for meme warfare, "the human element in the cyber domain".
Zig Forums be warned, contains "cyber". Just in-case the uniforms weren't enough to tip you off to the fact that everyone you see is a Fed.

Yeah, that's worthless military propaganda.

Video did not play, but the march edition of the navy institutes proceedings had a number of articles on cyberwarfare including

If it coming from Hollywood or RT then yeah, but there are plenty of reliable sources that have been accurate for decades. Dont forget DARPA is still a thing.

The idea has had numerous names over the years. Calling it "propaganda" leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

Future warfare is going to be autonomous, tactical, and on the net. Drones are the future of flight, and sending in small specialized units is the next generation of combat (do some googling). Cyberwarfare is going to be a political weapon, russia, china, and the norks have all been working on it because there are few RoE for cyber (iirc there are now) but there is much less risk involved than proxy wars and plausible deniability in any attack.

It's all gay and not fun anymore.

when is the DOD gonna establish the cyber corps with the first goal of replacing windows XP in the military with an operating system the military can actually control? A universal unix/linux OS with code that is top-secret(not just copyrighted) would be easier for the military to update and would streamline data transfer on the battlefield network they are still trying to get running.
tl;dr you can't outsource programming for something so huge as the military. They need to rewrite a *lot* from the ground up if they want a robust information network.

A milspec linux distro developed by the DOD would be really interesting to see.

...

Have you considered you can't keep that secret because you'd have to give some access about your distro to military contractors for them to do their job? We already run into this shit when building boards for certain military contractors since they tell us to put a polarized part on a board, but don't tell us on the silk screen or schematics which way it's supposed to fucking face because that's "top secret" information.

Kim spent some time in Europe during his childhood years, IIRC his friend said he was afraid to talk to girls, just liked basketball, and then he told him a secret that he was actually the next leader of North Korea, and he didn't believe him.

The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported.

This. Fucking hell, the Russians have this down.

Censoring words randomly came about from making fun of SJWs who would censor "trigger". However, it is a nu-meme, and therefore unfunny and forced, so you should knock it off. In this case, it should be "Weimarica or Worst Korea".

You know how they do that? Haven't you ever seen someone with a Nork proxy?

And that doesn't look like Kim in the image, though I did hear about Kim living elsewhere.

He got surgery to look more like his father.

Staff were continually fobbed off with various excuses by the teenage pupil’s shadowy chaperones about why the pair could not attend the end of term meetings.

But they never guessed the real reason Pak’s father was never present – because he was a tyrant busy running a ruthless dictatorship 5,000 miles away.

“Pak” was, in fact, future dictator Kim Jong-un – the youngest son of North Korea’s recently deceased leader Kim Jong-il and the next head of the nuclear state.

For over two years Jong-un was secretly educated at the Liebefeld-Steinholzi school in Liebefeld on the outskirts of Bern.

Ironically, the curriculum at the school – whose motto is “We produce quality” – included lessons in democracy, a way of life that oppressed North Koreans have no experience of.

While he was there, Jong-un immersed himself in student life – going out for pizzas, hanging out with friends and playing basketball.

Swiss authorities were told “Pak” was the son of an employee at North Korea’s embassy when he enrolled in August 1998. And although Jong-un kept his identity secret from his teenage classmates there were tantalising clues about who he really was.

Well-heeled “Pak” arrived in Switzerland with a “fantastic” collection of Nike trainers worth thousands of pounds.

His close schoolfriend Nikola Kovacevic recalled: “We only dreamed about having such shoes. He was wearing them.”

Each pair of his trainers were worth more than four times the average monthly salary in North Korea. Yet as he paraded around in them, his fellow countrymen and women were starving to death as a result of a devastating famine.

“Pak” lived in a large flat at No 10 Kirchstrasse, a sedate suburban street with two pizza cafes, a bank and a Co-op supermarket. It was sparsely furnished but filled with NBA memorabilia – including photos of him with basketball stars Kobe Bryant and Toni Kukoc. Friends say he was “obsessed” with basketball and showed “absolutely no interest” in politics.

Around girls “Pak” was awkward, recall friends. But on the basketball court he was “fiercely competitive” – winning was everything.

Classmates also thought it strange how his obsession with basketball was indulged. On at least one occasion, a car from the North Korean Embassy drove “Pak” to Paris to watch an NBA exhibition game. And he got told off in class for doing a pencil drawing of Michael Jordan instead of concentrating on the lesson.

“Pak” also got in trouble when a teacher who was checking pupils’ bags for cheat notes before an exam pulled a bondage-themed porn mag out of his bag.

Outside class he would play games on his PlayStation and watch action films featuring hand-to-hand combat, particularly those starring kung fu hero Jackie Chan. Amazingly, Jong-un only revealed his identity to his closest school friend, Portuguese teenager Joao Micaelo

His friend Kovacevic said: “We thought he was ill or something and would soon be back. But he never came to school again. He totally disappeared.

“We were just playing basketball together – and now he is going to be a dictator. I hope he is a good leader, but dictators are usually not that good.”

I'll work on making a sequence of webms.

Why not start with literally every other fucking government institution?

This is high level luggenpresse.
Swiss "boarding schools" are literally the place where THE ENTIRE PLANET aristocracy's sends their kids.
From the Rothschild to the European royal lines and Arab princes and the far more elusive actual owners big groups (no, it's the place were the CEO's kids don't go. CEO's kids go in a posh school in their own countries, CEO's are employees after all, those people don't mix with the help).
The school knew full well who he was (or else he wouldn't have gotten in. It's as simple as that) and his schoolmates too, and nobody would be surprise by someone in that place having spending money or having escorts AS THEY ALL DO.

...

Please, please someone with a drone or car bomb, something go in there and blow them up all to hell!

Don't worry, future warfare means our super magical space lazers will be able to keep total control and power and keep the central State in total control after order and peace dissolve, just like all those other times in the last 30 or more years.

The wonders of lobbyism and relentless shilling can accomplish much. Here's what happens when you decide to switch municipal infrastructure to Linux:

Yeah, lobbying by the microshaft centre in Munich had nothing to do with this decision.

Why do I feel that I know more about war than a goddamn 4 star?

Because autism is a very, very powerful force. And also because most officers are promoted based on how much ass they kiss, rather than how much ass they kick.

Can anyone guess as to what the online propaganda programs are called
they usually have cool marketable names like en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stargate_Project

I find this Cyber warfare to be either boomers being really bad at internet or boomers asking for mo money for dem cyber warfare programs.

So maybe both.

There's some truth to it, especially considering how computerized the world is, but I honestly would not be surprised that most of it is indeed what you suggest, and maybe false-flagging and inside-jobbing.

Odd thing about autism is that it almost seems like a person who is under mind control.
Socially very unresponsive but fully focused on the task given to them.
It would be irresponsible to mass vaccinate people with mind control drugs but its not like the MK ultra people ever asked for permissions to test on people.
But user in pic related claims such vaccines work against mind control.
All i really know is that they don't really care about us.

"Cyber warfare" as defined by the US military is "hacking" or "social engineering" i.e. russian bots shilling Putin on the net.

That sounds like a crock of shit to be quite honest. The way I see it, autism isn't a mental disorder, but instead an evolutionary mutation/adaptation to civilization and the rise of specialization. Having a man absolutely focused on one thing is good, like you see with artisans, scribes, monks, et cetera, and I reckon Mother Nature considers the loss of social skills to be an acceptable trade-off, especially considering the historically smaller numbers of autists in the first place.

So kikery, then.

Sometime literally, as in actual castles converted in schools. And the whole place is crawling with Swiss (Switzerland has no army. Switzerland IS an army).
Do you really think they would send their kids someplace were there is even a 1% chance they might be harmed?

Based on what I've read, autism seems to be an accidental but successful adaptation for colder climates. It seems that the mind of an"actual" autist can't filter out sensory input the same way most people can. E.g. if someone walks on the street, then they don't pay any attention to other people speaking around them, because they subconsciously reduce it to background noise. Yet if someone calls out his name, then he hears it clear and loud, because it's important. For an autist every sound is just as loud and clear, so his mind is constantly overloaded even from the sounds and sights of an average day. To cope with this burden their minds develop very strict routines that they have to follow at all cost. And if you live in a cold and dark northern forest, then following very strict routines is a must, so they do have an evolutionary advantage in that environment.

I remember some asshole during painball saying that nothing bad will happen even with his finger off the trigger litteraly SECONDS before he accidentally shot someone.

God I wish that were me.

Better late than never I suppose.
