What an eye sore.

It's modernism you pleb.

It doesn't make it look any better no matter what you call it.

That's why it's bad.

Saint Basil's Cathedral (actually Cathedral of the Protection of Most Holy Theotokos on the Moat).
I'm Catholic and you can say what you will about the Russians but you can't argue about Russian orthodox aesthetics.

Catholics Explain Yourselves

Why don't you like it? It's modernism.

Because we don't worship Anti-Christ here.

Do Spanish churches never get completed?

Mine isn't compete yet

Your posts are so audacious and stupid you don't even deserve (you)'s

Call me a weirdo, but I've always liked the idea of the outdoors as church. It'd actually be a thing out here too if I didn't live in Satan's Ballsack, which is to say Florida.

Misunderstanding of "noble simplicity" and modern architecture.

I like the idea too. You don't even need seats, just a make-shift altar if you're going to have Mass or Divine Liturgy.

I agree. I remember once whilst playing Kingdom Come Deliverance doing the quest to hunt for heretics, and upon finding their "chapel" as the game put it, I remember thinking, "this is really nice, I wish more churches were like this." It was just a bunch of stumps and a wooden makeshift crucifix. How rustic can you get.

Misunderstanding that there are important characteristics of a Catholic church missing from the picture.

Saint Nicolaus Church in Chrzanów. I've been Baptised, recieved my first Confession and Communion and Confirmation here. It will always be the comfiest church to me. Wikimedia has some more pictures here: commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Church_of_St._Nicholas_in_Chrzanów

Dear non-catholics,

We catholic laity cannot explain nor excuses ourselves for these low-church protestant gym halls.
It's modernism, it sucks, it's all to push people away probably (best and most logical explanation looking at the results).

Best regards,
The laity.

Sort yourself out, modernist drone

Why does it look like a snake? Am I just visually biased now since I first saw this posted on Zig Forums?

All of these are located near or part of my hometown in the last region of France still under the law of the Concordat.
Pretty based m8.

Visited Milan last week. The cathedral is very impressive, both from the inside as well as the outside.

This is the Cathedral in Brasília, my hometown.

Only people with simple churches say this. Nothing inspiring.

Absolutely pagan.
