I hate talking politics so I just tell people I'm Christian and my politics are subordinate to my beliefs. I don't like identifying as conservative or liberal, I think your religion should do the talking and represent your "values" and "who you are".

I find that people identify with their politics too much these days, to the point of idolatry.
