I completely agree with you that the US should have done far more to prevent illegal immigration in the first place. In my country, the idea of having tens of millions of illegal immigrants working and voting is unthinkable. We regularly raid companies that employ illegals, we fine the companies until they are bankrupt and we deport the illegals.
