Virginia Special Session of Legislature

The Governor of Virginia is calling a special session of the state's legislature over gun restrictions following the shooting at Virginia Beach.

HOWEVER

Between this, the anti-gun ATF pick, and Trump's suppressor comments, some real gay shit is coming down the pipeline

I'm confused. Why aren't people here celebrating? I thought Zig Forums liked gun control now, because "muh accelerationism" means that when your rights are infringed, you win.

This

Just because it's accelerationism doesn't mean it doesn't suck. When it happens in red states, it leaves fewer places to hide funs. Accelerationism only works when non-criminals are suddenly labeled criminals - it's not something glamorous or desired, but the Founding Fathers dealt with the stigma in their own way. We will too.

Accelerationism requires large, sudden jumps, not a slow boil.

What's wrong with Virginia? It's why the founders gave us the 2nd amendment.

I doubt it'll pass. And even if it does, we at least in Southern Virginia have a shitload of guns, even niggers and trannies have guns down here, so all it'd do is probably push people farther right. People already hate Northam for his blackface shitshow.

Northern Virginia (NOVA) is essentially 'Greater Washington DC'; there's a reason why Virginia has the most missing children in the country

This. Plenty of OCers in Lynchburg and all the towns I passed through to get there from the south.

why does everyone hate blackface again
I don't even care that he did it, people do stupid shit like this all the time in college and high school
why can't people understand that this shit is just jokes and nothing more

The Special Session is here, stream starting in a few minutes.

Virginia is fucked.

They've added an "Assault Weapons" ban to the list of proposals under HB4021.
If they pass this shit, VA is megafucked.

I can't even watch the assembly stream because the retarded boomers in charge of making a website can't make a functioning live-stream.

Yeah, whoever set up the stream has a room temperature IQ. Hopefully it unfucks itself or else we're gonna have to find out about new resolutions when its already over.

Apparently some Boomer Republican tried passing a bill that banned guns at government buildings, but I think that got shot down.

The stream keeps playing just long enough for these cunts to go on a ramble over 'muh guns' and then it cuts out again.

What do you think they mean by firearms rationing? Do you think they'll try and set a limit of firearms per household or per citizen?

As far as I can tell, they mean to limit handgun purchases to 1 per month. Anything beyond that, I'm not sure.

This is already a law at the federal level, how is this not also a state-level law or regulation?

Republicans just moved to have the next session be after the election and then to adjourn. Both passed, special session has been ended afaik.

So it was nothing?

It was supposed to not be nothing but then this delegate from Shenandoah stepped up and shat on it all, so yeah, it's nothing for now. We may have bigger problems if the Dems flip the legislature this November. If they do that, then I'd be concerned.

Dog Bless.

Ralph "Coonman" Northam is basically Jeb-tier now.

VA has gotten gay as fuck because niggers from Maryland, and yuppie cucks from NY (aka east coast californians) invaded NoVA and spread their filth around up there, and the several major universities we have has attracted the cuckspawn from the rest of the nation.
where should i move to? I was eyeing Kentucky, but Missouri looks more and more appealing by the day

Come on down and check it out we have constitutional carry and you don't need a permit to concealed carry also your guests are now protected from liability under castle doctrine. Here's a list of all of our public ranges: nature.mdc.mo.gov/discover-nature/find/places/mdc-ranges

What did he do?

He moved to set the next session to after the next election (November) and then to end the session before any bills were even introduced. Both movements passed, so the gun control has been severely delayed.

Hopefully they hang on to the legislature

Looks better overall than VA even with Northam getting slapped down.
