Chesco 'child predator' gets 100 years for state's largest-ever child porn stash

Lawrence Jamieson, the scion of a respected Main Line family, was actually a "child predator," Philly federal prosecutors said before he was sentenced to 100 years in prison for sex crimes and possession of child pornography.

Lawrence, also known as "Larry," Jamieson, Jr., 59, of Malvern, Pa. pleaded guilty in September 2017 to charges related to his stash of some 14.4 million child pornography images, collected off the internet over the 15 years on thousands of DVDs, thumb drives and other digital storage devices.

The collection was believed to be the largest discovered by law enforcement in Pennsylvania history. It contained "some of the most demented images imaginable of toddlers and infants being sexually assaulted by adult men and women, and in some cases, by animals," federal prosecutors said.

Just to play devil's advocate, here, how does downloading pictures off the internet make one a predator? Who is the prey? The bandwidth?

And, of course, they checked each file, one by one, to know that all those millions of images are illegal.

FBI and NCMEC have the biggest pizza stash on planet and hash values of each file, so comparing with it might have sped up the process.

This is a regular child abuse case including making and distributing the material. Specifically bringing up the numbers of files in their stashes is only for the media, a sensationalist article that even goes the extra mile describing the most disturbing pics. WHY? To generate fear in the public, to keep the witch-hunt against pedophilia active, to give them leverage to further rain censorship on the internet, so that one day the copyright law is strong enough to destroy the free market and the ability for peasants to share anything with each other. And along the lines of this twisted farce of illegal politics, you can bet your ass that nobody gives a flying shit about the children behind the news.
