I'll tell you what, I'm glad I lived a little when I was younger but I am very glad I don't do drugs anymore. Never needed them anyway. The booze was always my problem and my wife didn't like it neither because I'd go into drunken fits now and then. Sometimes with incidents. Got locked up once for shooting my gun off in the air in my front yard after drinking too much (a long time ago), but the police were cool with it back then, they let me out with a warning the next day and let me take my gun back home (unloaded, they took out the clip). Back in the day I was known as one of the "town drunks" lol. Think of someone like Otis Campbell from the Andy Griffith Show except there were about a dozen or so dedicated "town drunks" where I live.
