Good! Obamacare Ruled Unconstitutional, Struck Down As Invalid

Obamacare has been ruled unconstitutional by a US District Court in Texas and will be formally scrapped.

Commenting on the decision of the court to invalidate the Affordable Care Act, President Trump urged legislators to change the law immediately.

Wow, but not surprisingly, ObamaCare was just ruled UNCONSTITUTIONAL by a highly respected judge in Texas. Great news for America!

Earlier on Friday, US District Court Judge Reed O’Connor ruled that the reform must be axed because Congress cancelled its key provision — the tax penalty for not complying with the requirement to buy insurance

The decision was part of a case made by 20 plaintiff states who sought to recognise the Affordable Care Act as invalid.

As I predicted all along, Obamacare has been struck down as an UNCONSTITUTIONAL disaster! Now Congress must pass a STRONG law that provides GREAT healthcare and protects pre-existing conditions. Mitch and Nancy, get it done!

The ruling is supposed to be appealed in the coming days. However, the ruling was made less than 24 hours before the end of the regular insurance purchase period for the year ending on December 15.

Thus, it will be difficult for consumers to determine whether they should buy insurance if they have not already done so, and how the cost of medical care will change if the court’s decision remains in force.

I highly doubt this has been reported here yet.

This is a great thing, especially since no replacement is necessary. Bye bye, climate change!

Has nothing to do with "climate change" it has to do with the unconstitutional Obamacare legislation that was forcing people to purchase ridiculously high priced shitty insurance coverage.

Less people = less climate change, idiot fuck.

I’m not going to respond to this, boomer.

medicare for all is better anyways

OK, so you are claiming there really were "death panels" then? What exactly are you trying to say?

You're hopeless. Forget it.

The Constitution is still the de-facto LAW of the land here, however it is up to the courts to decide what is, and what is not, considered Constitutional.

Oh, that's so nice of you to say. So do you endorse the Living Document style of interpretation or an Originalist mode? How do you reconcile the expense of monopolistic allopathic modern medicine with an Originalist interpretation?
